We were lucky to have a table without having a reservation. There were a lot of people which was great to see. It made the dining room so much more lively and enjoyable. The service was great, all the waitresses were friendly, respectful and also cheery. It was overall an amazing experience. I found the food had interesting combination of flavours. I can't say that the combination was particularly delicious, but it was definitely interesting, especially their watermelon dish. The fried chicken was good but wasn't as crispy as I would have hoped, the okonomiyaki was tasty as well and the corn was plain and flavourful. The mochi bacon had good flavours but I would have preferred it if the mochi was softer. This one was a bit tough and not as enjoyable.
Just a great place to sit down, relax and enjoy really good dishes. Been there twice and they always meet my expectations. Service is always flawless, the food is amazing and flavourful. A must try in my opinion
Recommend to make reservation on their website. Food : Excellent mix of flavours. Recommend to come as a group. Food are good to share here. Service : Staff are so friendly and they really care for their customers. Ambience : So chic. I love the terrace. Each time we come here, great food , great service. It’s one of my favourites spot to eat in montreal. Very responsable price : great food.
Amazing restaurant with so many delicious choices! The portions are on the smaller side, so I’d recommend ordering 2–3 dishes per person. The outdoor patio is lovely and the service was excellent. Big thanks to the staff!
Amazing Japanese restaurant in the heart of downtown! We were seated outside on the terrace, but as it is completly closed and has large warmers, we felt very comfortable even if the temperature was bellow 14°C the day we went. As for the food, OMG, almost everything we tried was delicious, everything was fresh and the service was quick and efficient. I highly recommend the saumon bonbon, the salmon tartar, the Okonomiyaki and beef tataki. The Veggie Gyoza and the fried chicken were just okay.
Amazing food, friendly service and really really beautiful interior. Highly recommend for a dinner or meeting up with friends! Less vegetarian options but the ones that are there are delicious and perfect for a meal. I got the fried tofu, rice, and veg gyozas.
I had a great experience at Biiru overall. The food was delicious and well-prepared. We started with the pork gyoza, which were good and a great way to begin the meal. The Tarutaru was also excellent and full of flavor. I then tried the Tan Tan Mazemen the first one I received was quite salty and took a bit longer to arrive, but the staff was very accommodating and quickly replaced it with another one that was delicious. We also added the Takoyaki, which was also very good.
Amazing food! Almost disappointed that we didn't go for the tasting menu, but nonetheless we left with happy taste buds and full belly! Definitely an underrated izakaya spot in the city
