Solid Korean BBQ. A highlight is their refillable 15 side dishes which gives some nice variety of flavour and veggies to go with the Korean bbq meats. The meat quality was great. Comes with dipping sauces for the meats. Would recommend the dinner sets which give you a bit of everything. The beef dumplings were tasty and the japchae noodles had perfect chewy texture. The soy bean tofu soup had lots of tofu, veggies, and meat making it very hearty. A nice touch was the complimentary sweet cinnamon tea at the end. Great place to bring guests and family for a Korean feast and bbq meat experience. The service was great but the tables could be bigger as they were a bit cramped.

Saw the positive reviews on this place and decided to try it out. It certainly did not disappoint! Very authentic flavours of Korean BBQ, meat was well marinated and portion for generous too. It came with 15 side banchan which is refillable and all tasted good. Meal also came with Japchap which was nicely seasoned and done too. Only downside, we had to do the grilling of meat personally otherwise it would be perfect! Overall, we had a very satisfying meal at Kook. Reservation is recommended!

There’s something deeply comforting about a proper Korean BBQ spread, and this spot easily ranks among Vancouver’s better options. The spread includes fifteen thoughtfully prepared banchan, warm rice, crisp ssam leaves, and your choice of soondubu jjigae or doenjang jjigae simmering away. We ordered the Combination B for four, and it felt generous in both variety and flavor. Sweet, marinated yangnyeom galbi shared the grill with smoky L.A. galbi and tender pork galbi, alongside classic beef and chicken bulgogi. Also includes house salad, crisp gunmandoo, and glossy japchae. Paired with Chum Churum yogurt soju. The kind of dinner that lingers, and the kind you don’t mind repeating the very next night.

The staff were very friendly. We ordered the combination for four, and the staff kindly introduced each type of meat to us in detail. In addition, we ordered the seafood pancake and kanpungi; the portions were generous, and the dishes were delicious. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday that evening，although a few small issues occurred, the staff responded quickly and did their best to help. Overall, it was a great experience — the staff were enthusiastic and hardworking, making it an enjoyable and delicious evening.

Really cool experience and tasty meats and so many sides! First experience with Korean BBQ and I really enjoyed it. The staff are really kind and the atmosphere was awesome. The spicy tofu soup was great. It was about 100$ for two people.

Had a delicious dinner here after 4 months away, and it did not disappoint. Had to make reservations in order to secure a dinner time slot, went for a double date with the kids gone for the weekend. Service was great, very attentive and friendly. Food was fresh and the meat was amazing. Spent a few weeks in Korea back in June, and this is authentic as you can get. Would definitely come back in the next six months!

I’m not usually a big fan of Korean BBQ, but Kook BBQ was a surprisingly great experience. I really enjoyed the wide variety of side dishes and the quality of the meat. Even though it’s not premium cuts, the way everything was prepared and processed made a huge difference—almost all the meat was tender and juicy. Service was also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
