We had the lunch special which includes meat jun, bbq chicken, gyoza, mac salad, pickle cabbage with a bowl of white rice. Kim chee on side included with meal. Tasty and filling for the price. It was quite busy for only 2 workers, waiter/cashier and cook but they handled it sufficiently. This place is conveniently located at Kukui Grove Shopping Center, close to the food court, across from Ross with plenty of parking.
Fast and friendly service! Kim chee and soup were very good. However, Bibimbap didn't impress me. It's ok taste, though.
One of my favorite restaurants on Kauai, everything is ono and with large portions.
YUM!! after a day out in open water , we were hungry… first time at a Korean restaurant, we order the special for two… One word.. Yummy …. Just sit down and get to business, not chatty servers but doesn’t sure good at cooking… everything was good, specially the breaded chicken and the meat in egg wash. A must come back for sure
The Kimchee fried rice were absolutely the most amazing thing ever. The portions are huge and my husband and I were able to split the fried rice easily. The ramen bowl in the picture was a little less appetizing and we left it half full. I guess that’s what we get for getting a ramen bowl in a kimchee place.
Hole-in-the-wall restaurant with spot-on Kalbi/Galbi short ribs with excellent flavor...I always choose the thin ribs instead of thick. I've tried a LOT of good Korean barbecue restaurants in LA and I have to admit that the cooks here have excellent marinade skills. Pay in cash or there is a surcharge for credit card transactions
You don't go here if you want great service and atmosphere. It's good Korean food for a decent price and that's it. Plain and simple.
One of my favorite for Meat Jun. Been going there for years since they opened. Unfortunately, times change and understandably their prices as well as many other establishments have been forced to increase. I won't be able to eat there as often as I used to but I'm still a fan.
