Tried the beef Bulgogi bowl, chicken bowl, chicken bites, and the triangle snacks. All were good, especially the bowls. Lots of food for the price and the staff was super friendly.
Do not let the fact that this place is in a mall deter you. Coming from out of town was needing some comfort food. The lady who made this food deserves an award. Packaged up to-go perfectly. Tastes incredible! Exactly what I would expect. It will be hard to not eat here over and over again.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a very kind lady. She seated us right away and displayed such great customer service. The atmosphere was fantastic——beautiful relaxing music; it was not too loud and not too quiet——just perfect. The food came out in a fast manner, and it tasted just impeccable. The food was plated very aesthetically.
So glad we came here! First and foremost, shout out to the patient and welcoming staff! I have never opened a gimbap before and the lovely hostess demonstrated how to appropriately unwrap the food from the plastic. The food was delectable! The soups, kimchi, bulgogi, bibimbap, and gimbap are highly recommended!

Korean husband and wife bringing delicious Korean food to Iowa City. The dolsot bibimbap was good and their gochujang sauce is delicious. My party also had the yukgaejang which was fantastic, tteok-bokki was great, and osambulgogi which is spicy pork belly and squid. No complaints across the board. *They are not open on the weekend.
I ordered the tteokbokki which came with many delicious toppings included. The staff were very kind and I enjoyed the pretty jazz music they had playing in the background.
2024 update: This place is still amazing. They moved to a bigger location in the capitol mall. They have a different menu too. I got their summer chicken soup which was outstanding, ate everything. Their tuna mayo and beef gimbap are also delicious. I don’t think you can go wrong ordering anything here. The owners are the sweetest people and always check to make sure you enjoy the food and are taken care of. I really miss their chicken wings (some of the best in Iowa city IMO) but those may come back to the menu! I’m obsessed with this place now. I can’t remember how I found it but I’m glad I did. Their bento boxes are wonderful. I love that they always change the side dishes you get with it and so far all have been delicious. I’ve had spicy pork and Korean bbq beef so far, preferred the pork. The chicken wings are probably the best I’ve had in Coralville/NL/Iowa city..soooo good and cooked to perfection. I can’t wait to try the whole menu.
