We came to Burrito Amor on our last night in Valladolid. We chose it because we are vegan/vegetarian and they seemed to have a lot of well marked vegan and veggie options on their menu. Make sure you walk through and go sit on the back patio if you can, it's a lot nicer than the little sitting room you see from the street and you can see into the kitchen. We shared a horchata (delicious) and then my wife had the ginger noodle bowl and I had the vegetarian burrito. The burrito comes wrapped in a banana leaf which is a nice touch and it tasted fantastic. My wife said the noodles were also great. The service was very good and there was even a musician setting up as we were leaving. If we were in Valladolid any longer we would have definitely come back.
One of the few gluten-free paradise places in Yucatán! We have eaten there in Valladolid and also in Tulum and both experiences have been amazing. After 5 weeks in Yucatán as a veg. Celiac - I know it’s extremely rare to find a place where the signs in the menu as well as the staff‘s knowledge about gluten are so good… the banana taco, the waffles, the rice noodles, the bowls, the avocado sandwich… delicious! Also the atmosphere of the place in Valladolid is extremely sweet - with their own little art market inside and an open kitchen with super sweet staff! Thank you
This is a 10/10 place! Everything was delicious! The banana bread and the churros were gluten free and sooo tasty. Burritos totally suggested and the Caesar so yummy! Such a nice place! For all those who were a little bit disappointed with the Valladolid food generally , this will be your heaven
I stopped in for coffee on my way out of town. I have been to their Tulum location but this one is so beautifully designed! Lots of vegetarian and vegan/GF options. A little pricey but it’s good!
Great burritos, good variety. Also really good guacamole, I liked how the tortilla chips that came with the guacamole weren’t fried and still were super crispy. The space is very nice.
I visited this spot with a friend, and we both ordered the chicken burrito but as a bowl instead. We also shared a side of guacamole and some ginger tea. The guacamole was incredibly fresh and flavorful, paired with light, crisp tortilla chips. The presentation of the food was thoughtful and beautifully done, and the service was excellent! The bowl itself was a bit plain for my taste, but still enjoyable. We paid 169 pesos for each bowl and 159 pesos for the guacamole. I love that they also offer unsweetened horchata and agua de Jamaica, and the menu in general seems to have plenty of fresh, healthy and plant-based options, which is fantastic. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with music at just the right volume for conversation. It felt like a little oasis in the middle of the city. I also appreciated the small shop inside, filled with beautiful art and aesthetic postcards—a lovely touch that makes the place feel even more special.
Love the Burrito Amor in Tulum so had to try the one here as well. The sauces that come with the burritos are delicious - I recommend the chipotle medium spicy one!
