Carisilos

Loved it. Saw the $1.99 house margs (rocks or frozen) on Mondays and Thursdays was a real thing, decided to check it out, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality/quantity. Queso Fundido didn't disappoint, along with the Chimichanga Fajita 10 out of 10 would recommend. $30+ tip on pay day was money well spent and I will definitely be back. Oscar, not the grouch, was attentive and gave me space to enjoy at my own pace. Do not let the exterior deter you from the interior atmosphere, great decor for the size and minimal TV's. Only disappointment was I've lived nearby for 2.5 years and never been in the strip. ... Update: I've been back 3 times over the 6 weeks after my first visit. I tried a different entree every time and have never been disappointed with the food or atmosphere. Unfortunately I have had the same inattentive server since, which did put a small damper on trying to enjoy the margs. So I'll be asking for Oscar or someone new next time for sure, because bet your bippy I'll be back

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! The food is always fantastic. Truly, everything on the menu is great. I especially love the carnitas, they’re flavorful and perfectly cooked. The prices are affordable, and the staff is always welcoming and kind. It’s very family friendly too- so much so that it’s become my toddler’s favorite restaurant! A wonderful place we’re always excited to come back to.

The food here is delicious! We came for an early lunch and were delighted with the lunch time margarita special!

I love the atmosphere in this place. There is very co artwork on the wall. The restaurant is very clean and has indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff is very friendly and professional. The food here tastes great. Lots of choices to choose from on the menu. Plenty of parking because it located in a row of stores. I have been eating here for years and I am never disappointed.

By far one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area. The food is always appealing to the eyes and the pallet. The portions are large for the price and the service is quick and friendly. The restaurant is also a Pokestop for those of us who play Pokémon Go. Highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

The place is always packed and it’s a smaller restaurant. Seating is limited and it’s a bit cramped but I can understand why. There are no over-the-top decorations, no mariachi bands, no glitter and glam. They take their food seriously. The layout is cozy, authentic, and the food here is incredible. I’m vegetarian and not one other place in town knows how to do vegetarian like Carisilos. They use fresh ingredients, hearty grilled vegetables, and the wait staff treats you like family. Your plate always comes out fast and hot off the grill. Put Carisilos on your must-do list!

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Service is always great and the staff is very friendly. They have an outdoor patio. The menu is pretty large, with some healthy options as well. The prices are great.
