La Gloria is a Mexican restaurant in Bothell very near 405. It has a sizable bar that shares restaurant space with an Asian restaurant called Inchin’s Bamboo Garden. The receipt calls out both restaurants. I met a friend for an early dinner and ran into a sizeable group of office workers who were there for happy hour. They were loud! I asked if we can move tables, and the server accommodated moving us to a table on the Inchin side of the restaurant, which didn’t appear to be open that day. Phew, it was so much quieter; we didn’t have to yell at each other anymore. Service was smooth and swift. A copy of their menu can be found on their FB page but subject to change. Parking is readily available at the building complex-lot. The Food: Quesabirra Tacos, $16 – 4 Stars This order includes two tacos, with a side of beef consommé for dipping. Diced onions and salsa round out this dish. The slow cooked shredded beef is very tender and flavorful. The consommé has pieces of beef to fish out. I dipped with the salsa instead. For the ambiance of being in a restaurant, this dish is good. If I only want tacos, there are taco truck options that are just as good at a lower price. Enchiladas Poblanas with Chicken Tinga, $16 – 4 Stars My friend orders this dish regularly. The enchiladas are topped with a creamy roasted poblano pepper sauce. It is not a spicy dish. Good for those who wants a departure with tomato-based sauce. They gifted a refried bean tostada to all diners.
I'd been wanting to try this place for quite some time, and finally decided to stop by on a whim and I'm so glad we did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and the service was great. Our waitress (wish I’d caught her name) was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive and always smiling. They have live music on Fridays, and it really added to the vibe! The food and drinks were phenomenal. We were offered a complimentary tostada, which was very unique. Our group ordered spicy garlic prawns and enchiladas poblanas — creamy, flavorful and delicious! Oh and if you enjoy some heat in your food, definitely ask for their spicy sauce, it’s delicious!
Complimentary Tostada! Amazing drinks with garnishes- La Gloria & Frida. We split a quesadilla the shredded chicken was full of flavor.
First time here, the drinks were really fresh and simply made and so good, the food is the same fresh and so flavorful ! Definitely coming back
Visited on a Sat night at 6pm. Not many people yet so it was nice. Inside and outside seating. Music was beautiful and atmosphere was very welcoming. Wait staff was on point. So friendly and offering alternatives when something was not available. Loved their tostata appetizer. Their Hibiscus drink was amazing. Street Tacos were great and the Quesabirria was delicious. Bill was not bad for dinner for 2. We would return.
Cozy place, tucked between two other restaurants. Food is wonderful and fresh, and staff is always friendly and attentive. The fried ice cream is to die for!
This place is a must stop!! Unique and different for the area, top quality ingredients and a super friendly staff!! Enrique's cocktails are varied and delicious. The Mexican Old fashioned had full tequila flavor with a hint of sweet. The tequilas are all additive free. He has a great selection that will be sure to have something new to love. The food was amazing. Fresh, flavored and fantastic. The Ceviche was wonderfully balanced with the hot pepper sauce. I will be back when I town!
Been back twice in 1 week. Excellent Mescalita. The enchiladas are great and they have vegan! Really friendly people work here. Great service, too. Don’t ask why La Gloria isn’t packed with people. Excellent location, great food and drinks, no wait, TVs for sports. Check it out. You’ll be glad you did.
