Mexitaco Cantina in Scarborough is such a gem! The space is beautiful and spacious with authentic Mexican decor, and the service is super friendly. We tried enchiladas, tacos de birria, taquitos dorados, nachos with guacamole, aguachile de chicharrón (pork belly), elote, esquites, Mexican fries with chorizo, tres leches cake, and churros. Everything was packed with flavor. Our favorite by far was the pork belly as it was crispy, tender, a little zest and so tasty. Definitely worth a visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican flavors!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Really great Latin American themed food and an excellent Mexican restaurant. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The portions were generous, and I’m absolutely stuffed in the best way possible. Amazing experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! First time hair at the Scarborough location on Birchmount food was great. Service was amazing. Can't wait to go back.
The best Mexican food i had in a long time. It was just myself and my husband and we had almost 5 dishes!! The enchiladas are a must try in the red sauce. Chicken and chorizo tacos are great. The machetes is something different but good too. And our all time fav tres leches amazing. The cocktails are good non alcoholic was something off the menu and refreshing. Must come again with my favourite people.
My husband and I decided out of nowhere that we wanted to go on an afternoon lunch date. So happy we landed at this spot! Monday special was $10 wings and a pitcher of thier house beer for $16 then we also got a suadero (braised beef) quesadilla. Everything was amazing! The wings were so saucy. The beef was very tender, melt in your mouth although I will say the bottom of the quesadilla was soggy but that was because the beef was so juicy so I'll take the soggy bottom. We were having such a great time together we decided to get a pitcher of the tropical sangria which was also amazing! We will be going back on a Friday or Saturday after 10pm to enjoy their LIVE ENTERTAINMENT!
Delicious tacos , nice place and great customer service. We tied 3 different tacos and enjoyed them all!! We’ll definitely go again
So good. I don’t always gravitate towards Mexican food but Mexitaco really is one of the best in Scarborough. Portions can be deceiving, I couldn’t even finish my burrito (not pictured).
