Restaurant La Jarocha

Authentic mexican food. Nice place. I've been there several times. I got carry out this time. Only complaint is they forgot my beans.

This was our first visit! I'm happy to see a new business in town! Empty buildings help mo one. Our main dishes were delicious! Our server was very nice! They were quite busy but everything ran smoothly! Our appetizer, their motz sticks left a little to be desired. They were more expensive than our dinner prices and just didn't taste good. The cheese was strange.... almost as if it were fake. The prices, in general, are higher than similar places in town. They do have a large menu. There's something for everyone. I'm not sure that Freeport needs another Mexican restaurant, but we enjoyed our meals. We may try it again as we love a good taco!!! Very able to accommodate large groups, which is nice! Clean, nice environment, good food and service, overall!

What a delicious meal! My friend and I absolutely loved their tacos. They have an amazing menu, so many great options. We had shrimp, fish, steak and pork tacos. The flavor was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. Overall, they were better than what we had in chicago! If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely dine in this restaurant again.

The food is delicious. I got two steak tacos, 1 birria taco, and a side of rice. The steak tacos were especially good. And I didn't have to pick peas and random junk out of my rice lol. Also my bill was less than I usually pay at a fast food restaurant. I'm glad I ended up here today.

My go-to place for tacos in town! Everything on the menu is delicious, from the burritos, birria to the sopes and empanadas. The staff is always friendly and the service is quick. Highly recommend!

I found this restaurant randomly and I’m loving it! The Al pastor tacos are soooooo good and they are quick to make food. Also the restaurant is very clean and it’s great service.

Visited the restaurant location for the first time and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was kind and attentive. The food was incredible. Pupusas, elotes (corn in a cup), birria ramen and birria quesadilla. Everything was sooo flavorful and delicious. Great prices for the amount of food. We left with enough leftovers for two more meals. Will definitely be coming back to try other menu items.
