It was fine, but I asked for torta Hawaiana without onion and as you can see on picture it had onion. Also horchata fresh water was too sweet, I couldn’t drink it and had to bring it home and mix with water. Tacos and and chiles rellenos were good and also salsas. To mention the waitress the young lady with glasses was very sweet and gave a great service.
This was our first restaurant we came to when we moved to Tennessee. The staff is very friendly, the burritos are MASSIVE but tasty. The fajitas are very tasty as well.
One of the best Mexican restaurants in a town with fierce competition. Went for lunch and had an absolutely amazing pastor (spicy pork) chimichanga off the lunch menu. The refried beans and rice are very good as well.
If I could of left a 10 star review for the food I would have. I didn't dine in so I can really rate the service. But while waiting to get my food I stood there and no one acknowledged me at all. This being my first time there It was unclear why there was a guy behind the counter standing there and I seen what I thought could be my order (and it was) and didn't offer to assist the lady that was with the customer in front of me, by asking if I was there for a pickup. I stood there for 5 mins which is no big deal but the fact he was just letting the lady do everything as he just leaned up against the counter behind her . The lady was real nice. Still I digress, the food and that lady - 10 star for sure.
We visited Tennessee for the first time today and after a full day of hiking we wanted to have some good authentic Mexican food and this place exceeded our expectations! My husband is from California and he has high standards for mexican food and he was impressed with the quality and taste of the food that we had here. Everything was so delicious and made fresh. The chips and salsa were so good, the chips were warm & crispy and the portions are large too. We got the taco combination plate, we ordered carne asada tacos, birria tacos and rice & beans. Everything was delicious! And their green hot sauce is so good. I also ordered horchata and the drink is well made very tasty, and it’s a large drink! Our waiter was a nice young man who was very attentive, gave us refills, fast service, and made sure we had everything we needed. This was one of our favorite restaurant experiences while visiting Tennessee. I also love that they have outside seating. We had our puppy with us and we had the perfect table outside and it was nice and comfortable. Come and visit this place! You will enjoy the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
(5 stars so you can see it) I ordered a steak casadilla. I've never ate dog food but that would probably be the closest to it that I have ate. The steak was not stake in that casadilla. Idk if this comment is attended for you. If it is, consider going to another restaurant.
Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - ordered a regular Steak Fajita, a Steak Jack Fajita, and a Lengua Taco. The steaks on the fajita were quite dry and the cheese was needed to help it along. The onions could have used a bit more of a cook to make it softer to match the texture of the bell peppers. The taco was good but you do have to ask separately for sauce! Service: 4/5 - friendly but each server had their own section and refused to even look or acknowledge customers of other sections. Ambiance: 4/5 - lots of seating but lots of tables that needed to be cleaned even as the store slowed. The furniture were a bit worn overall Value for price: 4/5 - the lunch pricing is decent at just under $9 per fajita but there was some weird pricing thing going on. The check they gave us charge a higher price than the menu for each item but they gave a "discount" to the original price when they ran our credit card.
Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Been to all the Mexican restaurants in town, and by far was blown away by the food here. I asked our waiter/waitress personally about the tortillas, and they are all homemade. WOW, what an absolute treat. The pricing is just right and the atmosphere makes you feel like your eating in someone's back yard. Absolutely worth it. We will for sure be back. The picture posted is the Quesa Birria Tacos combo.
