don’t sleep on this hillman gem! ramonni does mongolian bbq (and spring rolls, and thai tea boba) right. here you’ll find real, fresh & delicious food. no shortcuts i drove 1.5hrs from polk county to enjoy: my first plate of mongolian bbq in 20yrs! and k’s kitchen didn’t disappoint. may i suggest the ghost pepper spice level (level 2)! it hits all the right spots. thank you, monni! you make beautiful food. i enjoyed everything very much.
Absolutely AMAZING!!! I had not have the ability to get Mongolian Barbecue in probably over 10 years. I randomly found this place and felt a happiness in my soul that is unmatched! The food is delicious, there is a joy in the atmosphere, and the customer service is quite good. You can tell it is seemingly a family business and it’s so addictive I have visited twice this week! The portion sizes are amazing and they charge by the bowl versus weight.
We went on a Wednesday evening, it was packed. We got our food at a reasonable time. Everything was delicious! The egg rolls (2 orders in pic) were the best we’ve had in a long time! The boba tea was good, we got vanilla and Thai tea. By the time we left, they had sold out of everything. So be prepared if you go later in the evening! The staff was really nice. And everything was clean.
Coming from nc we stop for lunch here ,food was delicious , flavor on point , I left craving more .
This place. Please go follow it!!!!! They’re SO GOOD!!!!!! Aside from their absolutely delicious food & drinks- the customer service was fantastic. The owner (I think) & two young ladies who were the nicest people on earth.. he took the time to tell us about the food, the way some of it is made, and let us try some things before ordering. My Zane can be a lot for some people.. but this man took the extra time, effort & care to talk to my baby When we picked up our order, they had hooked us up exponentially more than we had ordered. Long story short- SUPPORT THIS SMALL BUSINESS OWNER ‼
Such a unique restaurant in this tiny town. Load up your bowl with veggies, meat, and noodles and pay for the bowl. Regular or spicy Mongolian sauce. Super super good. We also ordered the fresh rolls with shrimp which were tasty! The pina colada smoothie was delicious but a little spendy. Overall, we would come back again, workers were super nice. Seating area could use a little something to make it more inviting but it was clean.
The food was excellent and inexpensive. Most of the offerings were fresh. The white rice was good but the fried rice was too salty. The atmosphere was like a take-out place, but they do have tables. Service was casual, friendly, and pleasant. Overall a very nice little stop!
Pile on the ingredients in your bowl and the quantity of food is great. Taste is also great although I prefer more sauce choices. I chose level 0 for spices and my husband and son who like spicy food got a 1 and both said it was quite spicy and probably wouldn't go up to a 2. My beef was pretty chewy, but the chicken and shrimp was very good. I'm giving it 5 stars because we plan to come back and there are not a lot of gluten sensitivity choices in Harriman and we enjoyed it a lot.
