Khokha Eatery

I'd ordered takeout here before for the family but came here for the first time to dine in. The decor is absolutely beautiful for a small space. The staff were super friendly, smiling and patient. I ordered the butter chicken and my partner the smash burger. We were very pleased with our choices! We love to support local and can't wait to try other dishes next time we come.

My brother and I had the smash burger and the Yeti sandwich - SO good! The butter chicken poutine was great. Drinks like their chai were great too (highly recommend the Iced Mocha Khokha!!) The interior decoration was vibrant. Service was friendly. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu.

During our visit to Ottawa, we had an amazing dining experience at Khokha Eatery! The restaurant's vibrant colors and unique decor created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that we instantly loved. The food was incredibly satisfying—especially the smash burger and fries, which were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We also tried the Hakka chicken noodles, mac 'n' cheese, and chicken biryani, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. To top it off, the kheer for dessert was a sweet and comforting finish to our meal. As visitors from Calgary, this was our first time finding such a great Pakistani restaurant in Ottawa, and we were genuinely impressed. Highly recommended!

The lentil fritter and yogurt dish had minced tomatoes and deep fried chips on top. It was rich and savory spiced comfort food. The kheer (rice pudding) was fabulous - it was sweet and cardamom tasting - so lovely! Zirmina also gave me the whole back story to the Khokha car which was painted by Pakistani “truck-painters”. It’s a small restaurant but a colorful and welcoming place. Halal. -recommended!

Brings to life with a modern touch Pakistani street food served at the eponymous khokhas as well as several classics like Biryani and curry. We've tried their lamb curry, Hakka noodles and butter chicken and found them all to be delicious. All the meat is halal and the prices are reasonable with rotating specials. They can tone down the spice level if you'd like the food mild. Khokha eatery is a solid fixture within the Barrhaven food scene and I'd definitely recommend trying it.

I found this small eatery from Google while I'm looking for my lunch. Located so quite street with multiple car parking area in Barhaven. You can absolutely feel you are in the authentic well decorated Pakistani restaurant with modern touch. I trust the kind young cashier's advise for my first meal in that place. I ordered Khokha Roll with Chapli (beef) based on his advice. It was delicious. The roll size is good enough if you are not so hungry which I was like that. Roll contain tiny sliced onions and their special sauce. Everything was smooth and nice. I will absolutely visit this nice small and quite eatery again. I highly recommend this Pakistani restaurant who is looking for quite place to get their meal for lunch or dinner. You'll like inside decoration too.
