Simple homestyle buffet with delcious from scratch choices. Everything was better than expected. So tasty!! Staff was nice. And then there was dessert!! Strawberry rhubarb cobbler, banana pudding and more! All with that special made by mom favors! They also sold many Amish canned goods as you can see in the pic. I didn't get a pic of all the pies and cookies!! Oh my!! I bought my share of goodies!! We will be back next time we are driving through! Update! I just tried the beets! They are amazing !!
The food was amazing! We went specifically for their chicken fried steaks and they were so good. Their mashed potatoes are so creamy. It was a little sketchy looking when I first got in there. No one greeted us. We had to walk around and then asked if we seat ourselves. It’s self service for every thing, drinks included, but the food was actually very good. The strawberry rhubarb pie and blackberry pie were delicious! The (who I assume is) the owners and their kids were decorating a Christmas tree so it was a little noisy in there but It was sweet and nice to see a family owned restaurant.
Outstanding. I met my cousin there. We both drove 2 hours one way. Totally worth it. Them Amish noodles are where it is at y'all. We were blessed to be there on fried chicken day. I skipped the ice burg lettuce. They have all these homemade salads like potato salad, bean salad, pasta salad. The mashed potatoes were an embarrassment. They should have never left the kitchen like that. The baked beans were perfect. The chicken is just like my dead gramma used to make. Not deep fried like a restaurant fryer. Fried in a cast iron skillet . Oh my. But wait. There's more. Them desserts y'all. Peanut butter pie from heaven. Lemon meringue pie that was so good eating it is probably a sin. I am taking a cooler and making the 4 hour round trip again real soon. I Loved that there is no table service. It feels like a big ol family reunion in there. We sat and had coffee after we pigged out. Talked and felt like we were at home.
Stopped here for the buffet lunch and was blown away by the wonderful food. Everything we tried was great. We bought some dinner rolls to take home. The rolls are like little clouds with melted butter.
We arrived for the breakfast buffet. Its somewhat small but adequate. We arrived just before they were adding to what was already on the buffet. So some of it was somewhst dried out. The flavor was good. They loaded up the desert area before we finished and I'm very happy about the timing. An impressive selection of a wide variety that was excellent. 3bof us dined for 44$. Not a bad deal. We're already discussing showing up for a dinner buffet soon. We all live in Muskogee so its about a 30ish Mike drive.
Buffet. Homemade food. Old fashioned good stick to your ribs, make your butt big. All sorts of delicious Pies. Chicken fried steak, white gravy, homemade rolls. It’s not gorgeous but the food is amazing. And place is clean. Good coffee.
Was really surprised how good the food was. Will definitely stop by again if around the area
My wife and I travel between Dallas and Kansas City fairly often, and the Dutch Pantry is often a part of our travel plan. This is a great buffet with wonderfully prepared food. The dessert offerings are are amazing. Today's buffet included everything you would eat at a thanksgiving meal. The turkey was the best I've ever had, super tender and juicy. Is it a posh and upscale restaurant? Nope. This is a homespun, family friendly, food coma, and dessert smorgasbord. It's an all are welcome, come as you are kind of place. If you like great food and all you can eat, give Dutch Pantry a try. I'm sure you'll love it.
