Frank's Restaurant

While out on one of our weekend excursions, we came across this awesome little Italian/American restaurant. The service was great, our cashier was super nice and very helpful. The store was clean but quite small, but there were picnic tables outside, which made for more dining space. At first glance, it just seems like a little hole in the wall restaurant, but don't let the looks fool you. Try it for yourself, it'll not disappoint.

Wife asked me if I wanted pizza hut or Pappa John's both of which I said neither. She ordered here and brought home seriously great stromboli,salad,and pizza. We will definitely be back!

Love this place! Food has always been good! Fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks are our favorite appetizers! We got turkey club and wings and they were really good! It’s a hole in the wall type of restaurant but that’s what makes it so good! Wait time is hardly any and the lady who gives our food is so nice and helpful with bringing anything we need! Prices are ok, not too expensive. Let’s not forget the cheesecake…..just get it. You’re welcome!

First time trying this joint. Upon walking in the restaurant is super clean and the staff are very friendly. I ordered their cheese steak Sub which was a bit soggy from having too much Mayo, other than that it was super yummy and flavorful. However the pizza did taste a bit like it had been sitting out which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Oh my! My first time eating here! Lasagna was sooooo ggggooooodddd! I have finally found a great italian restaurant! I pray it's always this good! I will definitely be back! I have got to try the pizza next, then the subs, and etc etc!!

I’m honestly ashamed it took me this long to try Frank’s Restaurant when it’s right up the road from me in Rural Hall. Decided to finally stop in and it did not disappoint. I went full nostalgia with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle–approved cheese pizza —simple, classic, and absolutely nailed. Perfect crust, great sauce, and cheese done right. My girlfriend had the lasagna for her birthday, and she loved it—rich, comforting, and clearly homemade with care. You can tell this place has been doing things the right way for a long time. Friendly atmosphere, solid portions, and food that reminds you why local spots matter. Frank’s just earned a repeat customer. Wish I’d gone sooner.

Everything from here has been very good. We've been going to Frank's for many years and will continue. Their burgers and calzones are great, too. Pizza is better then any around, beats major chains. Family friendly and patio dining as well as inside dining. They are a good bunch of people and so friendly.
