We have been going to Occum Pizza for over 25 years. We started going there when we would go camping nearby and after we would set up, we would go to OP for dinner. It was tradition. We have found that the atmosphere is a little more stressed and a little less friendly so we get take out now but food is still yummy. Today I was on my way home and had to swing into get a grinder to eat on my way. Again, the atmosphere wasn't as friendly as it used to he but my grinder was good all the way home. I miss the people who used to he there that would talk to you and make you feel welcome.
We got the taco and buffalo chicken salad for dinner tonight, 100% AMAZING so was everything else- new to the area, love anything Buffalo and theirs HIT!
We had a great experience at Occum pizza while passing through CT on our was home to RI. Their credit card machine was down and we had limited cash on us. The customer service was above and beyond. I hope they get their credit card machine up and running soon- it must be so frustrating. The pizza was delicious! We would definitely stop back here if we end up this way again.
I ordered a tuna club with drizzled oil, with onion rings instead of fries. Best onion rings I've ever had. Tuna club was made exactly how I like it. Haven't tried the pizza yet but I'll get back to you I will order again.
I ordered take out and it was ready really fast. The people working there were super nice too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean and the seating areas spacious and comfortable looking. They have a fantastic menu with a lot of choices. I had a small Hawaiian Pizza with extra cheese & red sauce, it was the best one I’ve ever had! My daughter had a large specialty pizza with extra cheese & white sauce it came with mushrooms, olives, spinach, and Gorgonzola cheese! I tried a piece of hers and it was so delicious! She also got loaded fries and they were fantastic as well. She ordered us each a milkshake and they were delicious too. I highly recommend this restaurant they have awesome food and the prices are very reasonable. I love it we’ll be going back soon!
Awesome place to eat! I like to get the Thanksgiving day pizza with extra cheese and cranberry sauce on the side each year! They make them for the month of November... Today was the last day for that pizza.
I’ve been eating at Occum pizza for around 20 years. There pizza and grinders are amazing I never had a problem with any food that I’ve ordered. There service is pizza isn’t greasy and the crust is perfect. Sauce isn’t bland it’s great how they make it. Just like the grinders however you want it it’s made that way with some fresh bread.
Changed ownership recently but food is still reliably great, and they're now open 7 days a week
