Papou's Pizza Wings & Calzones

The best pizza in Georgia. Everything is done by hand. The place is not fancy at all, but the food is absolutely delicious.

This place is great! We stopped here for dinner on our honeymoon in 2019. It was as great as we remembered when we stopped in last week while passing through. The Greek salad and pizza are very good, tzatziki sauce is on point, and the owner and employees are very friendly. You won't be disappointed! Note: they are cash only, but I believe there is an ATM in the lobby.

We have been there twice now. Both times food and service were stellar! If you like chicken parmesan you are in for a treat. The meat sauce is a bit spicy but awesome. The marinara sauce is down right addicting. We even bought gift cards for friends we liked it so much.

I can't believe I've never tried this place! The owner is just a great person, I don't think he's ever met a stranger! The food is fresh and no doubt made from scratch, right down to the sauces! We had the best Greek salad with chicken. My husband had wings and I had a calzone. Couldn't have been better! Wish I could have had an ice cold beer with it, but an ice cold Coke hit the spot! This place is a gem! Give it a try! I'll definitely be back! One note: It's cash only, but there's an ATM on site. Enjoy!

I remember it like it was yesterday. The air was warm, the wind was blowing slightly to the northeast. I was skipping along joyful in my child like envy. When all of a sudden, as if by a stroke of fate or by God I do not know, I stumbled across quite possibly the greatest eating establishment in the entire history of the culinary world. It was as if Popous himself come out and greeted me with his big Greek smile, because he did. I stumbled inside head full of amusement and stomach aching with hunger. I pulled out my crisp 3 dollars and 37 cents and bought myself the greatest most fresh, simply amazing slice of pizza I have had in my entire existence. This was 20 years ago, ever since that moment I have been searching for a bite of that pizza for every day that I wake. Crust fluffy and light yet filling, sauce crafted with perfection, the finest parmesan and the best pepperonis known to man. All combining together to make the most complexly simple, yet greatest slice of pizza. All to be washed down with a fresh coke, freezing cold and as refreshing as an oasis in a desert. This place is quite simply the most amazing experience on earth. Food, arcade, scenic views of historic Tallapoosa and the most welcoming staff around. 10/10 I would dedicate my life to again.

this is a great place to eat in tallapoosa, inside of this place is beautiful! and the food is great i like the cheese pizza large they have arcade machines and coin slot toy games i highly recommend.

I love Mom and Pop pizza shops! And this one is another one on my list that I love. I would go back here. No problem and no questions asked. The staff in the inside is amazing and you can tell that it's locally owned and operated. Support local and buy gray food! Love it!

I visited today for the first time. I ordered the Italian sub. My husband ordered the lemon pepper wings and a supreme calzone. Everything was absolutely delicious. We weren't sure if we'd like the wings because they're baked, but they were lip smacking good. We will definitely be back again.
