Spiros Pizza On 17Th Calgary

Without a doubt one of the best meals my family has ever eaten. Every. Single. Dish. Was. Amazing. Service was exceptional and their knowledge of the huge menu was above and beyond. The restaurant is adorable. My only complaint is they do not have a restaurant in Edmonton. Do not hesitate to eat at Spiros, you will not regret it.

It wasn't overly busy when we arrived and the waitress wasn't overly pleasant. We got some decent food. I got the famous lamb meal at 40$ you get a lot.of lamb but it seemed a little pricey. Tasty, full flavored food but nothing amazing

Decided to drop by and have a meal before our flight back to Montreal. We were missing Greek food from home so we decided to have a big meal after not eating all day. Let me say from the moment we entered until the moment we left the entire experience was welcome and delightful. The food was authentic (high praise from my wife who is Greek) and the lamb in particular was an absolute highlight. We ordered a bunch of dishes from salads to calamari to the pan cooked cheese and the whole thing was exactly what we were looking for. Food was flavourful, fresh, prepared quick and generous in portion. Had a nice cocktail and beer as well while enjoying the decor which was honestly both cosy and visually interesting with plenty of things we both appreciated especially on top of the amazing food. Sad we didn’t get to visit sooner in our trip but in all honesty? We heard about the place as two people walked past talking about it in the beltline and thought? Why not. Highly recommend for food, staff and atmosphere. Please drop by and support a local Greek business because I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. For all our dishes I don’t think we even took a picture with how quickly we devoured the food.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Spiros! The food was delicious—authentic, fresh, and full of flavour. We tried the calamari to start and it was perfectly crispy and well-seasoned. The menu offers a great selection of Greek and Italian dishes, and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. The atmosphere inside is cozy, fun, and full of charm—bright colors, Greek décor, and a welcoming vibe that makes you feel at home. The service was also top-notch: warm, friendly, and attentive from start to finish. Definitely one of the best spots in town for comfort food and a great night out. Highly recommend!

Very cozy place. Extremely warm and friendly staff. The pizza was deep dish with lots of cheese. Restaurant can easily transport you to a different era and place.

Still one of the best pizzas in Calgary! Eating in the staff is fantastic. They remember their regulars and are attentive and ....did I mention the crust? Superb! Baklava to die for!

First time here and I loved it! Can’t believe I waited so long to try it. We were greeted with a smile by Christiana (sorry if I got the name wrong), and promptly seated. She gave us excellent service, answered all questions, and was attentive! It’s a family business, so they care. The atmosphere is traditional Greek and comfy – it’s a vibe, and reminds me of the Greek restaurants in Vancouver from back in the day. Very nostalgic. The food was delicious, the portions large, and most importantly, it was steaming hot (which many restaurants in Calgary can’t seem to get right). Highballs (premium) are only $8! Highly recommended if you want filling comfort food served with a smile! Plus, you’re supporting a local family business.
