A great lunch place for us on a brief stopover in Blacksburg. Extensive menu and the Spanakopita and Gyro were delicious! Great selection of beers that you can buy home. Nice outdoor sitting for good weather days.
Great local spot. Food took a while to come out, but it was pretty crowded so it was fine. Space is well-decorated and not like anything else in Blacksburg. Some of the best curly fries I’ve ever had and the Gyro was great as well. Overall, awesome spot and definitely the best of Blacksburg.
We had such a great meal at The Cellar today! We started with the steamed shrimp (seasoning on the side) and WOW—there were so many and they were cooked perfectly. For our main, we got the Cellar House Special pizza and added olives… omg, we demolished it. You can probably tell from the pics lol. We also tried the Meat Lovers pizza with cheddar, which had incredible flavor, and the steak sandwich did not disappoint either. Everything came out hot, fresh, and super flavorful. Highly recommend!
Dream of a place in the middle of HECTIC Blacksburg, VA!! All the students had just come back and it seemed a few places closed after lunch. We were late. Ha! But we found what we looking for in this great joint! Food and service rocked! Thank you! Xo
I just found one of the best french dip sandwiches I have ever eaten. Since moving here from Los Angeles I've tried so many different places. The French Dip at the Celler was amazing. The prime rib was beautifully medium rare. It was so tender and flavorful. The bread was perfectly soft yet toasted. The jus, I could drink that with a straw. I've been here for 6 years and this is the first time I've been there. I am definitely repeat customer now
Virginia Tech alumnus here - went for a late lunch today. The pizza is terrific. I ordered a meat lovers pizza. I believe the older I get (and I don't consider myself old), the more I appreciate the Cellar Restaurant over other pizza in Blacksburg, VA (It is clearly better than a lot of pizzas I've had in Alexandria, VA where I live - and that's high praise coming for me). It's made, baked, and cooked cleanly - it's not a greasy pizza - and that's the secret to high quality pizza. Thank you for an outstanding dining experience.
We love this place!! When we visit Blacksburg VA we must include one meal here. Our vote for the BEST hummus ever!! We always order it here and the warm soft pita bread is the perfect accompaniment. We highly recommend this place !!
