Chicken pot pie, club, Parmesan pork chop and Rueben
Cheryl’s never disappoints! Best pork chop in Alabama as far as I’m concerned, and the sides themselves warrant a visit. Piper was super friendly and prompt. We will be back!
One word.... YUM! Been looking high and low for a family style restaurant, this is it. Hamburger steak with mac n cheese, potato salad and corn bread; everything on the plate was delicious. The patrons were lined up at the door waiting for them to open at 11 for good reason, this place is awesome. Will definitely be back! A++

Stopped in today for the first time and received a generous welcome from every one of the service team, including the owner. Place was packed, a strong indicator that the food must be good. I had the pork chop, mashed potatoes/gravy and turnip greens. My lunch partner had the field peas, butter beans, and squash casserole. Clearly the best southern cooking I have ever had at a restaurant. Service was top notch and friendly. We will be back and we will share our discovery with others.
Cheryl's food, service and prices are always on point. They have daily blue plate specials and a chalkboard menu along with the regular menu. The crawfish bisque, squash casserole and the reuben are my favorites. My wife always gets the massive club sandwich. Their banana pudding is delicious, if you have room for desert.
My boyfriend and I found this place for lunch. They're open from 11:00 till 2:30 in the afternoon serving lunch. Had a Blackboard full of good old Southern Comfort food. I ordered the hamburger steak with grilled onions mashed potatoes and Black Eyed Peas. It came with some Mexican cornbread but it was rather dry. We prefer ours a little moist and sweet. My boyfriend ordered the chicken pot pie which he said was excellent. As well as lima beans and black eyed peas for him too. These people were hustling. They were quick with drinks and food everything. And the restaurant was pretty full. Not a long wait though! We'll definitely be back!
