Seriously, this place has the most amazing food and vibe! We absolutely loved everything we tried, and the service was top-notch. The food was all just incredible, truly a culinary delight. But that olive oil cake? Pure perfection, we could eat it every day! Highly recommended if you are in the area or not! We drove from Toronto for this place and it was still worth the drive.
Came hungry. Left happy. That steak board was insane. Cooked perfectly, great crust, juicy, full flavour. The bone marrow was the star rich, buttery, messy, exactly how it should be. That sauce on the side wasn’t optional, it completed the whole thing. The tartare was fresh and clean, nothing overpowering, just really well done. You could tell the kitchen knows what it’s doing. Mussels were on point. The broth was so good the bread didn’t survive. Zero regrets. Dessert finished it properly warm, not too sweet, just right. Also shoutout Ashley and Ryan super easy, great vibe, didn’t rush anything, didn’t disappear either. Made the night smooth. No complaints Would come back Would order the same thing again.
My husband and I were visiting from Toronto and staying overnight in NOTL. We’d heard great things about this spot from friends, so we decided to come here for my husband’s birthday instead of dining in town and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious, and our server, Ryan, was wonderful: personable, friendly, and super attentive. Our only regret was not ordering the chicken or burgers - we saw them being made right in front of us and had a moment of FOMO! But everything we did try was fantastic, each dish with its own unique twist. We’ll definitely be back!
What a gem! Service was fantastic (thank you Michael, Ashley & Ryan). The lychee martini was SO good and the food was creative, interesting & delicious. The pan con tomate tasted so fresh and flavourful. The Atlantic salmon tartare was crazy yummy. It’s a fried avocado with salmon tartare in it and left me wanting more because it was that good. The gnocchi were perfection and we ordered another plate! The baby gold peach was creative and a perfect way to end our meal. It’s peaches done 3 different ways and the caramelized hard topping one reminded me of a healthy type of crème brûlée. We didn’t save room for dessert and will have to go back to try. Thank you Odd Bird and the wonderful people working there for doing you and doing it fabulously!
Very cool and cozy place. Very limited seating so make sure to reserve or arrive early. Food was delicious, had the fried chicken sandwich and smash burger. Both were juicy and full of flavour. Wish we took advantage of the oister deal because they also looked really good. The cocktails here are delicious as well, and they make a really good old fashioned. Check this place out if you're in the area, definitely worth it. Also love that Randy from TPB was there.
This place is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants in Niagara, and with good reason. The food is amazing, the menu is always rotating but consistently creative, and the cocktails and wine are all bangers. I love that this is a place where you can have a half dozen oysters with some Lillet Blanc or sparkling wine, but also a place that makes an amazing fried chicken sandwich. Everything I’ve ever had has been amazing, and the service is as close to perfect as is possible in a notoriously chaotic industry. Front of house and back of house work together like the gears in a Swiss watch. Treat yourself to a seat at their bar and consider a round of brews for the crew. I still have dreams about the foie gras pancakes.
Had dinner at the bar. They took our coats while seating is, which I thought was very thoughtful. Food came out quickly. Servers were very polite. Everything was tasty.
I’ve been enjoying the chef-driven delights and unpretentious vibe ever since Scott and Justin opened OddBird in 2017. I always love the modern twists and flavors they bring to their creative dishes. The ambiance is super chill and laid-back, with exposed brick and small tables — it has that neighborhood feel, like you’re “in the know.” We sat at the bar this time, and it was cool watching the crew create their magic. The oysters, accompanied by a series of eight sauces and freshly ground horseradish, were great. The blackened octopus was delicious — tender and bursting with flavor. The best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had — light, crisp, with a heavenly sauce. The truffle fries did what they do best — and what better pairing than a hoppy cold IPA to go with all the inventiveness? A great culinary adventure for food lovers who appreciate quality and signature dishes. Saluti!
