This was just a Beautiful experience from when you entered establishment the Owner greeted us and seated us, our server was spot on and knew the menu, was very attentive, we Celebrated our 22 Wedding Anniversary. My wife had the Prime Rib with Broccoli and mashed potatoes, I had the Chicken French, and the Roman Roasted Artichoke Hearts was our appetizer and that was a treat that we never had before. Check out The Grove 1848 you'll not be disappointed.

I work with McKenna to cater a baby shower. She was very patient with me, I had lots of questions and was very quick to respond to any of my calls, emails and text. The setup was beautiful and the food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be using them again.

Our family held a gathering and meal at The Grove 1848 in the summer of 2024. This was to host family and friends after a small burial service for my Mom at the local cemetery in Kendall. Throughout the process the owners were very helpful and accommodating - from food ordering and selection process to the actual event itself. I cannot adequately express how satisfied we were with the results; the food was fantastic, the service exceptional and the flexibility for configuration of tables, chairs and food was so helpful. A small table held photos for display and a computer running a continuous video where the guests could easily view and gather for sharing stories and conversations. I highly recommend their services for gatherings like this; every aspect was flawlessly executed. Thank you!

This is a true gem. Great food from a varied but not exhaustive menu. Everything prepared fresh. Charming atmosphere. Can't wait to return. Discount on Thursday for first responders and veterans.

Decent thin, foldable pizza. They have specialty pizzas, check the menu for descriptions. You can also get cheese and pepperoni or just cheese. There are no mushrooms for cheese and mushroom. One size only a large, which is fine because it’s thin. Cheese only was 20 plus tax.

Fantastic place to go after a day at Hamlin Beach! The seafood bisque soup is amazing! Overall, very hospitable small town GEM of a place! Owner was super sweet and kind! Coffee is fantastically strong! The rolls are something to crave, make sure you ask for them if they aren't offered! YUM! Definitely Kimmy-Sue Tested and Approved

Went to The Grove 1848 last night and had the best meal I have had at a restaurant in a long time. Food was HOT when it made it to the table and full of flavor. If the Gouda Mac and Cheese is in the menu I HIGHLY recommend as it has the perfect smokey flavor. My sister had the Chicken French and she said it was simply the best she has ever had. The chicken was tender and melted in your mouth. We honestly talked about the meal the entire ride home as it was that good! We definitely will be back!! The entire restaurant is very clean and homey. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this perfect little hidden gem.
