Nice country Restaurant right on busy Highway 7 just outside Havelock ON. Plenty of parking even for few Big Rigs. Country style atmosphere with very affordable and quite a variety menu. Service was fast and friendly and to the point . Pretty big Restaurant with lots of tables. Looks like mostly locals dine here with few tourists/drivers passing by on hwy7. Love all these paintings on the walls and that they are available for sale. Food arrived in timely fashion . The only half a point I would take out for food presentation... I know Fish-and-chips always will be simple, but a bit of green on a side makes dish look way way better.
I really like it here. You get a decent amount of food and decent prices. I love the fish and chips here. Come here every time I visit my parents. I'm pretty sure my fish and chips was $18 and the piece of fish is massive, I couldn't even finish everything. Will be back next time I come visit marmora!
Went there for Lunch today and had a great server named Steph. Food was fast under 12 minutes from the time walking in to food on the table. B.L.T and a western omlette sandwich with fries. Delicious hot food served with finesse. I would definitely go back.
Service was great, very nice servers! My dish was delicious, my favourite place to get ribs but my boyfriend got very dry pork chops. The atmosphere is nice but the seats there are not cushioned, very hard. Still giving 5 stars though because I love this place regardless
We had a great experience at the ranch. Great service and pretty good food. The fried cheese curds were awesome. Yummy garlic bread with cheese. My daughter had scrambled eggs which she liked and son had steak which was good. I had fish and chips but wanted a blt with mayo not miracle whip so that was disappointing. I'm sure they use mayo in the kitchen so I didn't understand why they couldn't put it on my blt. What restaurant kitchen doesn't have mayo? That and my fish was OK but a bit bland, tartar sauce helped with that but is why I didn't give it 5 stars. Of course the kawartha ice cream at the end was delicious. Went back again, food was even better this time around. We had chicken souvlaki, chicken wings, steak sandwich, poutine and fried cheese curds, all were good.
I wish they’d have something for hungry ladies :) I’ve ordered meal called “hungry man” and couldn’t finish it. Very delicious bacon, portions are huge! Great service. Highly recommending.
