The Stag - Chophouse

My husband and I had our wedding at The Stag, and we were absolutely blown away. It was perfect. Avalon, the event coordinator, was so lovely to work with the whole time, and she was there with us the whole night making sure everything moved smoothly. Angie, our amazing bartender, was a dream. They took such good care of us, and I’ll never get over it! The food was to die for, and we had raving reviews from all the guests. 10000/10. Thank you guys so much! I feel like you’re a part of the family now!

Came here with my girlfriend for a nice meal and had a good experience. I ordered the Burboun Glazed Ribs, the Bone in Porkchop, Calamari and the Beef Tallow French fries. I also ordered the mixed berry drink. Spent $130 after leaving a tip. Let's start with the Calamari. The breading was incredibly flavorful but the squid itself was a little overcooked. Because of the flavor 10/10. The Burboun Glazed Ribs were cooked to perfection and had good flavor but the glaze was a little over powering. A little too sweet for my palate. Removing some Glaze and eating a lightly covered one I properly enjoyed. The French fries were very solid for steak house french fries. The Beef Tallow added some nice richness to the fries and they had just the right ammount of salt. But something was missing. The Pork Chop was cooked to perfection. Juiciest one I think ive ever had. Great drink too. Over all a nice evening and id eat here again

We had the ribeye, New York filet, and the Sea Bass with sides of Caesar Salad, Fries, asparagus and green beans. Everything was so delicious. Very happy with Gabriel’s service and the food.

Our service was excellent - Gabriel was amazing and he made the whole experience. Cannot say enough good things. The food was great. Our only gripe was that we were celebrating a special occasion and we called ahead for a specific table which was confirmed in the phone call. Unfortunately those tables were occupied when we arrived. We were seated elsewhere but one of the tables opens up a few minutes later. We were a little disappointed just because we called ahead and had it confirmed and were really looking forward to it for our special night.

Had dinner here a week ago with 3 friends & the food was good for sure. Pork chop was great, juicy & nice crust. Chilean sea bass cooked spot on with a nice crisp sear & lobster Mac and cheese is recommended as well. The ribeye & filet were okay but definitely recommend asking for light seasoning, great location & atmosphere on the square!

The Stag salad is a Legendary masterpiece, clean, bold, and built with intention. The crab dip? Pure domination. It doesn’t compete, it conquers. If you pass on the full, chef-prepared meal here, you didn’t miss out… you surrendered. This one’s a no-brainer. We’ll be back soon to do it right, again. ~Mitch Taylor~

My coworkers and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. We were seated right away, which was a great start after a long day of meetings. The service was outstanding—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. The food was absolutely amazing. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We all left talking about how impressed we were with both the quality and presentation. Another huge plus was the location. It was just a short walk from our hotel, making it incredibly convenient for a relaxed dinner without needing to drive anywhere. Overall, it was a perfect dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! If I’m back in the area, I’ll definitely return.

The Stag Chop House was a fantastic surprise and an absolute standout dining experience. The steak was perfectly cooked and delightfully tender—I ordered the filet at a medium-rare plus, and it was spot on. The mashed potatoes were truly to die for: rich, creamy, and indulgent in the best way. The French onion soup was also excellent—deeply flavorful, well-balanced, and exactly what you want on a cozy evening. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added to the upscale, warm, and festive atmosphere. While it is on the pricier side (a glance at the menu will confirm that), the quality of the food, service, and overall experience made it feel worth it. A wonderful choice for a special night out or a celebratory dinner.
