My favorite drive-in in the area. Great hot fresh food, wonderful selection of ice cream / frozen snacks, service is phenomenal and prices can’t be beat. Literally cheaper than any fast food and their food is sooooo much tastier . Also have a Putt putt course and Pokémon card store .

This is a great place to get ice cream. I recommend ordering up front versus the drive through because often times the drive through is very busy.

Great food. Ginormous menu. Great shakes (and pizza burgers). Usually, very busy. It'll take maybe 10 minutes to get your order. We'll worth it. Try a coney dog or foot long while you're at it. There is usually a line of cars wrapped all the way around the building into the street. ***Order at the window!***

I have been coming to Vargos for 20 + years. It’s always good service and good food. This day I got a pulled chicken sandwich without the bun (just a little 4 oz cup of shredded roots brand chicken) it was a nice warm protein. I also got French fries as they are the only thing that is cooked in their own fryer, making it less contaminated by its gluten friends. Topped off the meal with a bumble berry slush float and the total was under $10 and filling! Parking is a little crazy when they are busy but they keep drive through line going by offering car hops that take pre orders in the line.

Food so good we were done except for half the fries before I thought about taking pics!! Great hot fudge brownie sundae, pizza burger, coney w/cheese, cheeseburger and fried mushrooms besides the fries-everything was hot and delicious!! Not a long wait, sat at tables out front-made for a great evening. Summer is here and it’s only May 9th-thanks. Vargo’s!! 8/2025 back for more golf and Pokeman!! What a fun place!! Very reasonable too!!

I believe this place has what every dairy bar and Dairy Queen ever has had all in one place. If you can’t find it here it may not ever existed when it comes to this type of Restaurant. Food wasn’t bad. Wasn’t outstanding but hot and fresh. Kids cone is really funky. I got a photo of the menu board but there is signs everywhere for items they sell that I didn’t get. Coney sauce a little bland but not bad. Cauliflower was hot and fresh. Fries was okay.

Nice fast food stand with reasonable prices. They have multiple flavors of soft serve ice-cream.

A Delectable Sojourn at Vargos: A Cornucopia of Frozen Splendor Darlings, let me regale you with a tale of saccharine serendipity, of an establishment so resplendent in its offerings that one might mistake it for a mirage in the vast tundra of pedestrian desserts. Vargos in Norwalk, Ohio—nay, a sanctuary of frozen divinity—has bewitched my discerning palate with its celestial confections. The pièce de résistance? An orange vanilla twist soft serve so ambrosial, so rapturously silken, that I momentarily lost all sense of time and space. Imagine, if you will, a waltz of citrus-kissed nostalgia entwined with the dulcet embrace of vanilla—each swirl a crescendo of pure, unadulterated bliss. The texture? A cloud spun from the dreams of angels. The flavor? A sonnet composed by the very muses of indulgence themselves. And let us not neglect the ambiance! A charming tableau of small-town enchantment, where one may revel in the simple joys of dairy-based euphoria. The service? As warm and welcoming as a cashmere wrap on a crisp autumn eve. To deprive oneself of this experience would be, quite frankly, a tragedy of Shakespearean proportions. So do run, do frolic, do gallivant to Vargos posthaste. Your taste buds shall compose sonnets in your honor.
