This is literally the best sandwich place in Northern Nevada. I believe that a sandwich can only be as good as their fresh ingredients and their bread. Their bread here won my sandwich of the year badge. Rubicon, beach hut deli, and Jersey Mike's comes close with their meats and veggies but they dont have the majestic bread served in Deli Towne USA. Their monster size is enough to feed a family of 5 but it was a perfect amount for my lunch break.
I really enjoyed the sandwich. I had a small turkey. In my opinion, this is one of the best places to purchase a sandwich. If you decide to give it a try, tell them david sent you. Enjoy! Sorry for not taking a photo. I dived right into the sandwich.
Food and service are good. Sandwiches are nice and fresh.
Made the mistake of eating at a different deli because it was closer to home. Made me quickly realize why Deli Towne, despite being located inside a gas station, wins so many awards. Fresh bread with piles of deli meat served by some of the nicest folks. One of the best sandwich places in town. They are slammed busy day in and day out for a reason, and that folks are willing to wait 30-40 mins should speak for how great it is.
I’m from Florida, I haven’t found a place that makes a good Cuban. Today I gave Deli Towne a try and I have to say I am impressed and soooooooo happy!!! It was excellent and just became my new favorite sandwich shop. Delicious!
This is the best sandwich spot in Reno!! It can be a little pricey but the sandwich’s are definitely worth it! Soooo delicious. Service was quite fast for how busy they can be. Sandwiches pictured are The Italian, The Cuban(Tampa style) soooo delicious and make your own!
I started coming here after I got gas at the Chevron station directlyout front. Don't know why people complain about long waits...thar's during the lunch hours. You can save time by ordering ahead online. I get here on off busy hours and order at the convenient kiosk so the wait isn't bad. I have really enjoyed their sandwiches especially my favorite, the Tampa Style Cuban. They have four different sizes of that and other sandwiches. I also love their strawberry chicken salad and even buy extra unique salad dressing that is custom made here. They offered to actually make it for me since I love it. Clean, big shop with every snack and drink available. Staff is always friendly too.
I've been lucky enough to try Cuban sandwiches from Miami to Tampa, and let me tell you, Deli Towne in Reno makes the BEST Cuban sandwich I've ever had. I know, I know – Reno? You wouldn't expect to find Cuban culinary magic in the Biggest Little City, but trust me on this one. From the first bite, I was transported. The bread was perfectly pressed, with just the right amount of crunch. The pork was juicy and flavorful, the ham was savory, and the Swiss cheese was melted to gooey perfection. The pickles added the perfect tang, and the mustard brought it all together. This wasn't just a sandwich; it was a symphony of flavor and texture. The ingredients were clearly fresh and high-quality, and you could tell that the sandwich was made with love. If you're in Reno and craving a Cuban sandwich, look no further than Deli Towne. You won't be disappointed!
