This place is great. We had the bar pretty much to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon. But I hear this place goes off. Chris our bartender was awesome. Very personal and friendly. He introduced us the the Peanut and Butter shot. It's a must have when you go there. The pretzel are the best on the planet. I had the southwest salad and it was really good. It's nice when you can really change up a salad and make it amazing. For sure check it out. Will be back.
My kind of place. We arrived mid afternoon Saturday between Christmas and New Year’s. Place was quiet. We walked inside and were able to sit outside on the porch. Love seeing a bar and a pool table outside. Dessert counter inside. I had the Wagyu-bison burger with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, on a brioche bun…requested medium rare. It was excellent. Got it with a side salad, which was also excellent; fresh mixed greens, iceberg lettuce, tomato, cucumber… Honey, mustard dressing. All was made or cooked to order. Could be the timing and I am certainly not complaining. Our waitress was cheerful and attentive with good recommendations. Love seeing the Outdoor rodeo ring and we’ll make it a point to stop by when there’s something going on there.
We had dinner last night and it was really good. I had the bison/wagyu burger and it was delicious. My friend graciously shared a bite of her salmon and it was excellent also. The Cowboy Queso and pretzel bites apps were excellent. Kaitlyn was our server and she was cheerful, prompt, and I would definitely ask for her next time.
We went around 600 on a Thursday night so they were not terribly busy. Based on previous reviews we were concerned about eating at the restaurant... Overall we had a great experience but with a few hiccups with the service. We had a great time in the bar eating steaks and drinking beer. There was a band playing and we lots of fun listening to them. Our waitress was obviously a new and training but was very sweet and working hard to try to do a good job. The food was good (although they use a strongly seasoned butter on the steaks... If you are picky about how your steak is seasoned request for the steak butter on the side when ordering.) We would definitely eat here again!
Their chef is amazing ! Someone who ate with us said it was one of the best steaks they had ever had. They have so many different desserts also. It was really cool to be able to watch barrel racing while we were eating. It was also fun to do the ax throwing and cornhole while we were waiting for the barrel racing to start. We had such a fun experience with great food and great service.
We drove all the way down to celebrate my brother's 40th birthday. It was easy to get in and to a table, even for a party of 12. The service was phenomenal!!! The waitresses were so nice and amicable. The majority of the food was awesome! We had the cowboy queso and chips, little lassos (onion rings), salad, roper's cut 14 oz prime rib, and then shrimp alla vodka. Dessert was banana pudding. My gripe about the food is that they kept running out of items, and then the pasta was...not great. I understand the saying of not getting seafood at a steak restaurant, but the shrimp alla vodka was just off. The sauce was so greasy and oily and lacked any depth of flavor. There was a lack of flavor, so it was quite bland. The shrimp themselves were delicious! Next time, I will just get a steak.
My first time eating here and will be back! The food was so good! I had the pork chop w/a garlic sauce topped with pepperocini peppers and it was amazing! My daughter had the ribeye. She said it was cooked perfectly. We went for an early dinner so it wasn't crowded. When we left, they were doing barrel races in the horse arena.
I saw 3.8 on the review and decided to check it out for myself. I ordered the ribeye and it was one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Great inside bar, and great patio where I ended up sitting. Great ambience.I definitely recommend this place if you want a Great steak. Better than the chain restaurants. My opinion, five star don’t hesitate to come here.
