La Chinampa Reforma

Absolutely loved my experience at Chinampita in Mexico City! I had the veggie fajitas with a variety of salsas, and every bite was bursting with flavor. Each salsa brought its own unique kick, and they paired perfectly with the chips. The food was authentic and tasted real good. The place had a great vibe, casual, and full of energy. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Everything tasted so amazing, I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Excellent all around The food was fast, fresh and flavourful The street side seating was clean and well set out They have 2x1 al pastor on Mondays and Wednesdays and I strongly recommend trying them out !

Stopped by for NYE dinner with most places closed, happy we did! We ordered margaritas and a selection of food. We originally ordered too much, which the waiter was polite enough to flag to me! Hostess was lovely and on the ball. We had to order a bottle of water twice and it still wasn’t received, but they were quick with the margaritas! Haha Food - Ordered some different tacos / tostadas and alambres. The Alambres was lovely, I’ve not had these before. Steak with peppers, onions and cheese and served with 6 tortillas. The short rib tostada was really good too! The meat was so tender and flavoursome. Rating based on the type of food venue it is - This is not fancy dining, more of a casual and quick eatery, but I already asked my husband if we can go back again before leaving CDMX! Fantastic value for great food. We also enjoyed the selection of salsas and sauces you get, each one was really good and different! Atmosphere - nice to see an open kitchen, we were on a table for two on the pavement which meant we had people passing and hovering while they waited for a free table which wasn’t ideal, but if you go knowing this it shouldn’t be an issue!

This place is gluten free friendly. The food was tasty, the meat was a little bit dry. The service was top notch. Lots of salsa options.

Authentic and Memorable! This was our first meal after landing in Mexico City, and we’re so glad we chose Chinampita Reforma. The food was incredibly authentic, full of bold flavors, and beautifully presented. A perfect introduction to the local cuisine. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy real Mexican food in a welcoming setting!

What is not to like: authentic, cheap, great service and unbelievable food. The Guacamole was literally the best one I have ever had. Couldn't get enough. The tacos, tostadas, flautas are great, very tasty. But the winner would be the Costras: imagine a taco but on the inside, the contents are covered with a crispy and delicious cheese blanket - Amazing!!!!

The tastiest tacos, quesadillas, pirata, and beef soup I've ever had! Every bite of it were deliciously good. And their service was fast. You got your order within 10-15min. If I happen to go back again to CDMX, this will be the first thing I would look forward to go to.

Been here a few times - very reliable place with vegetarian options, and a reasonable price point for the area especially considering their opening hours. Some days the food was better than others, which did impact the overall review.
