Picante's Tacos & Tequila Resturant

I would put this in contention for the best Mexican restaurant in the Jackson metro. I've ordered the fajita quesadillas every time, they're so good I can't get anything else. (I do prefer the chicken to the steak, personally). And the value? Incredible! This level of flavor for the price is unbelievable. It isn't the closest to home, but worth the drive every time.

Incredibly good food and attentive service. The carnitas were absolutely delicious, and the portion was extra large. The burritos special was good with well seasoned beef, but next time I would order without lettuce on top because it made it a little soggy. We thought the rice and beans were some of the best we've ever had. They tasted authentic and were worthy of mentioning. The kids hamburger and fries got two thumbs up from the kiddo, and the fries appeared to be hand cut and didn't taste like they came out of a bag. They were so good! We left with two to-go boxes that will make another meal.

My “go to” place whenever I’m in town. I come to Canton about every other month and LOVE this little restaurant! The salsa and chips are always good, as is the friendly waitstaff. I usually get the hard shell beef tacos with a side of pico and they never disappoint. The margaritas are good with lots of fruity flavors. This isn’t a fancy restaurant, but it’s good food with with friendly staff and won’t break your wallet when you leave. I’m always surprised when my bills comes and think “I thought it would be so much higher”. Go and enjoy some yummy food!

This place has good vibes to it and the food was really great! The prices for everything is really fair and I hope it stays that way! I got the Burrito Picante’s. It was delicious!

Each time I've ever gone the food has been fantastic. The employees are very nice and when you have questions about the food, they are very attentive to what you're requesting.

Excellent. Very authentic. I had the chicken and shrimp and it was great and a lot of food. My wife had the chicken burrito and it was excellent. The service was excellent. Just passing through but I’d stop here again anytime.

Just off the square in Canton! Picante’s has crisp chips, fresh salsa, friendly service and all the dishes you expect. Speedy service, plenty of food and a good value. Good margaritas for when you’re off the clock.

This was my first time here and we loved it! This will be our New Mexican spot when we don’t want to drive into town. The portion sizes- including the meat were huge! Carnitas are my favorite and this was some of the most tender and flavored meat I’ve had. The house salsa tasted fresh and had a beautiful smoky flavor and my husband added cheese sauce to his quesadilla and it was great!!! I got a large lime margarita and it was so tasty, plus they didn’t skimp on on the alcohol
