Overall best food I've had to eat while I've been in Pecos this week. Only real negative is virtually no wine selection (a chardonnay and two Moscatos -- they really need a dry red wine to go with all the red meat served). Yes, they are a draft house and have what looks like a good beer selection, but some of us can't drink beer...
Giving this a 4-star rating because I feel like it's under-rated (amongst other Pecos restaurants). My husband and I spent the night in Pecos and wee looking for a "good" place to eat. This was the 2nd choice for us, as our first choice (based on convenience only as it was located next to our hotel) was closed for the Thanksgiving holiday. We had zero expectations based on the reviews but needed to eat, so headed to the restaurant. It was a Sunday night and, to our pleasant surprise, found the place to be packed! I chose the Cajun chicken sandwich (sans pico) and my husband went with the basic burger. We were both very pleasantly surprised! Our dishes were perfectly cooked (yeah - cuz our expectation was they would be hockey pucks), the chicken/meat seemed to be fairly fresh (double yeah!) and both actually had some flavor to them. ... And the fries were hot!! And our server was very attentive! The only downside is that they only serve beer (and the first 2 I wanted they were out of!).
Amazing steak street tacos!! Pita is a wonderful server!! I definitely recommend eating here
I ordered the seafood boil tray and I must say for a Mexican restaurant in a small town they got it right y’all.. sauce is flavorful.
Good music ... good atmosphere... wide selection of brew ...the fried mushrooms were subpar ehhh...the wings where good tho I’d come back when in town
I absolutely loved the food, the atmosphere and the service our waitress Daszia was very sweet and attentive. She made sure we had everything that we needed and made sure our drinks stayed full. I would definitely recommend her as your server. She definitely made the experience a 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back!
First time there and food was awesome ! My Dad loved the waffle fries and the sweet potato fries were good too! Thank you will definitely go back!
Food was delicious! Chips and salsa served prior to our meal. The salsa was good and spicy too. Loved it. The serving of chips was pretty small for three grown men though. I had the double trouble burger. It was fantastic! The fries were good to, but again kind of a small portion for the fries. The beer was cold and not over priced. Our server (cant remember his name) had a great sense of humor and did a great job. It was a pretty busy night (Saturday college football) and our server managed all his tables well.
