A old corner store converted to a restaurant. A wonderful welcoming feel, great food wonderful people. I don’t think you’d be disappointed.
Just a nice little county restaurant. Small good food, very friendly service.
The place is really nice and the food is next level. When you walk in, the place is small but quaint with a nice hometown country style. The service is incredible, the waitresses are quick to help. Their food is similar to cookout in style but fresh and much better. The flavor is there for sure and the quality as well. Overall very nice place and I will be going back soon!
I googled best burgers in high point, and this was one that showed up. I checked the pictures and menu out, and it looked like it was a place I would like , and I did , I had a great cheeseburger and fries, although she brought mine out upside down, , we will deffently be back. It was wheelchair accessible, tight inside, but I made it work, and so did they.
This little grill is the cutest hole in the wall. Everyone is so sweet and you can tell they really care for each customer. It is CASH ONLY so i have to plan when im going, but the prices are amazing and so worth it for a quick lunch. Their chicken and dumplings are amazing and they have the best type of fries IMO!
Great home-cooked Southern Country comfort food. Best hot dogs and burgers in NC. I do not exaggerate. Menu is limited, but every day there are off-menu specials. Plain food, but it's all great Southern cooking, prepared by the husband and wife owners. The waitresses are as great as the food. Well worth the drive from Lexington, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, or High Point. Seating is limited, so be prepared to wait a bit, but the customers are friendly so sit a spell and get to know them. We were here for lunch, but my son and others say that their breakfast is fabulous. Prices are better than fast food restaurants, and the food is as good as my still-lovely bride makes, so you can't beat that! The restaurant's building is an old house, but it's as clean as you would want any to be. The decorations are old filling station-type food signs from decades past. It's a mystery to me how the travel and food magazines have missed this place, and still tout past-their-prime places like Kermit's (which does still make very good hamburgers).
Great old school spot doesn't look like much from the outside but the food is amazing. A true classic greasy spoon. Huge burgers and good pricing. The service is friendly and once you try out you'll want to come back.
Wonderful food and wonderful people! I recommend this spot to anyone looking for quality service and a delicious & well priced lunch/breakfast!
