Great place to eat. Food is always cooked exactly how I like it. Very clean and all the staff are always nice and helpful. Love the salad bar as well. You won't be disappointed.
Always great service and great food from good folks! Great little Northeast Mississippi gem, large menu! The half hour drive is always worth the trip, with complimentary Hush Puppies! Tonight we had Onion Pedals, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and the Surf & Turf (9oz Sirloin, Blackened Shrip) on a bed of rice, and Hush Puppies.
I really love home-town places. I have gotten here within 30 minutes of closing time the two times I've gone, so I think there's probably room in here for 5 stars. Will update when that happens!

Friendly staff, food came out fast & delicious! What more could you ask for?! Diverse menu too. Yummy salad bar.
Food was excellent! Friendly staff; fairly quick service. It's a really nice, homey feeling place to enjoy good food, and fellowship. The only bad thing I would say is there is a little confusion on the menu concerning the salad bar. The menu says that ordering a Entre (steak dinner etc..) comes with 1 trip to the salad bar. But then the waitress told us that we had to use 1 of our sides as a salad bar. That's not how it says on the menu. BUT, all is good, we didn't complain, it's not worth all the fuss. All in all, we had a great QST time experience!!!
All I can say is that Simmer on Down is a great place to go to! I enjoy their surf n turf meal! My favorite is the mozzarella cheese sticks! They are huge but delicious and they look like chicken strips! To those of you who enjoy ribs, they have a rib special every first weekend of the month and it's tender easy off the bone with delicious bbq sauce! If you've never been, go out and give it a try!
Amazing salad bar. Delicious steaks and a great menu. Great service. And you'll see at least 10 people you know every time. Highly recommended
