Great vibes! Unique interior. Really good drinks. Highly recommend!
What a beautiful, ornate space. If you enjoy older architecture, this Is a place for you to visit . The (what looks to be original from the 1890's) bar, cabinets, woodwork and stained glass are so unique. There's a mural painted on one entire wall. They have local beer & really good cocktails. This is also a place where, if you're local, everybody knows your name
A historic bar with a visit on your way up the UP. The bar has a beautiful Tiffany-style backbar, and the bar and mural on the wall are a century old.
A wonderful quintessential watering hole for snowmobilers, locals, and tourists alike. Would recommend ordering any drink on the menu other than the ginger mule.
Drinks away here! Old style saloon with standard beverages and almost full bar There’s an old urinal in the gents but with a motion sensor head to flush it lol Great prices for me.
Cannot say enough about Shutes! First off, Pat is incredible and made our experience even more special and his special Bloody Mary is spectacular (summer season treat so get it while it lasts!). Bar was built in 1890, everything is original except the current mural and furniture/appliances. You must stop in and stay a bit!
Super neat piece of history! Not a bar you need to be a regular at to get service, the bartenders were friendly and outgoing. I’m not sure if they had food other than chips and candy but the beer was ice cold and that’s all that mattered to me.
We had great service for a quick drink while in town. Affordable (by our standards!) and I loved the cider they had on tap. Great atmosphere as well.
