Stopped in while on vacation, everyone was super nice. Food was more than fairly priced, and pretty darn good! Nice chill little atmosphere!

Best price for seafood boil! It’s not a fancy sit down place but you will get dirty eating anyway. No gimmicks, just good food for good price. Heating while dining can be tricky coz it’s a small sit down area and when someone comes in you will feel the chill from outside. Dress warm if coming in winter. Or order to go but I don’t wanna clean up at home and I want to eat the seafood boil hot, so we always just dress warm if coming in the winter.

I spontaneously came here with friends and my boyfriend. We had an amazing experience. We tried the seafood sampler and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the Juicy Special sauce with mild spice, and it was so good. For anyone wondering, the Juicy Special is a little bit of all the sauces combined—trust me, it’s delicious I 100% recommend this place. The service was great and the ambience was perfect—small, cozy, and ideal for enjoying a seafood boil. Definitely stop by if you’re nearby, or make it a point to come one day just for the food. Just FYI be aware that the mussels have barnacles if you care for that

Chubby Crab – Chinatown, NYC Don’t let the disheveled, out-of-the-way appearance fool you – the seafood here is spectacular. The Cajun spicy seafood boil bursts with flavor, and the lobster was moist, tender, and absolutely delicious. After a long flight, this was the perfect reward and a wonderful welcome back to the one-of-a-kind energy of New York City. The value is incredible, especially considering it is in the Big Apple. I will absolutely be back and I recommend this one to all seafood Aficionados in my favorite US city

I am from LA . Cajun seafood tastes the same as boiling crab form LA and really good price. I hope the place can be more warmer so that the food heat can be the same! In any case, this is definitely 5 stars and customer service is the best. Second time coming here after Christmas 2024. The owner reviewed the advice and literally had the beautiful heater on the table. The customer service that he put and the commitment he had will definitely make this business further. Will definitely come here again next time when I visit to NY.

The Seafood BOIL!!!! OMG, this spot is amazing! Right next door to the roasted duck/pork place (also good) if you want a meat and seafood evening ;) the seafood boil is super fresh, made with your choice of sauce/seasonings, corn on the cob and an egg! Not to be missed - the fish and shrimp fry! The fried shrimp are a good size - these are not teeny tiny but actual a solid two-bites sized - and FRESH FRESH FRESH, soooo good, seasoned just right. To-go they added tartar sauce which I like :) but back to the seafood boil… It’s enough for 2 or 3 but we’ve seen people in groups order individually and throw down!!! The Chubby Crab may seem like a take-out spot but they do accept reservations and on a busy Friday or Saturday night I would highly recommend calling and making a reservation if you want one of the maybe 6 tables inside - they go fast and again, people are throwing down on the shrimps, lobsters and crabs! As much as I’m germ-phobic, I admit I licked my fingers the seafood boil and fried shrimp was so good We plan to go back and order the shrimp fried rice and orange shrimp, those dishes also peaked my interest but we had so much food already! Pro-tip - the duck line next door runs around 35 to 45 min. Stand with your friend until you reach the door of the Chubby Crab, go inside or place your order online at that point. Before the time your friend gets inside of the duck place, your order will be ready and steaming hot hot hot. Also, the duck place is cash only but The Chubby Crab accepts debit and credit cards!

Even though it doesn’t seem like much from the outside, the food here is delicious. The sauce that comes with the seafood is absolutely perfect, the cajun sauce. We got the seafood boil with shrimps head off, crawfish, snowcrab, blue crab and lobster tail. The total was $91 but it’s absolutely worth it.The AC was blasting though and it was freezing inside

The day I went the owner happened to be working in the front and he was really nice. The restaurant is quite small, there are only a few tables but the place is clean and welcoming. I got a build your own seafood boil, the seafood is sold per lb or ½lb and is, flavourful and fresh. I don't really understand lbs because I use the metric system in 2026 like most of the world ... I definitely accidentally ordered too much but I took the rest back to my hotel and ate it the next day. I really enjoyed my meal and I'm definitely going back before I fly back home.
