Cluck N Cleaver Chicken Beltline

We ordered the Family Pack with 8 pieces of chicken, coleslaw, large family fries, and 8 boneless chicken strips. The boneless strips were exceptionally tasty—well-spiced, juicy, and far superior to what most other places offer. They had a rich flavor and perfect texture that really stood out. The 8-piece chicken was dark meat, making it extra juicy and flavorful. The crispy coating stayed intact and didn’t fall off, adding the perfect crunch to every bite. The coleslaw was delicious and fresh, though I personally would have preferred a touch more vinegar—it’s more of a personal taste preference than a flaw. The cornbread was soft, fresh, and full of flavor, unlike the processed and bland versions from other brands. Overall, this meal was much better than what you get from big chain restaurants. You can actually enjoy the full experience of eating well-made fried chicken—flavorful, satisfying, and freshly prepared.

Nice !! I just came in for a quick snack. Wanted to grab some chicken nuggets or chicken tenders. Staff was quite helpful they explained that the chicken tenders are four large pieces of white meat while the crispy boneless bites are prepared with the dark meat... It goes by weight so I got a third of a pound for 9:25 and that gave me just over 12 large pieces of chicken which I was really shocked to see such a generous portion size for the price. Chicken is deep fried in a nice crunchy batter.. inside was tender and juicy. They also have a nice variety of dipping sauces that are seemingly in-house made and unique to this restaurant. This restaurant just geared to the grab and go customers mud the dryer by a couple of bench seats as well as a couple of picnic tables outside.. They also offer some good packages that you can bring home to the family. Which will set you back about $10 a serving for a family of five. They also offer some house brewed iced tea, malted chocolate milkshakes and some other unique sodas my favorite was the ginger beer which was packed with ginger flavor They also do catering. They have a location in Walden area if you're not keen on driving into the downtown area.

Chicken is great; but watch out for green spots in fries ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ Cluck N Cleaver is easily my fav chicken spot in Calgary. The chicken is consistently juicy and flavorful, with breading that's perfectly crisp without being greasy. The dips are honestly next-level, especially the honey mustard and the blue cheese. They take the meal from great to amazing. If you like to dip I'd recommend getting two! The prices are reasonable too and portions are decent. The fries are also very tasty, but here's my one small complaint: every time I order them, I notice green spots on some of the fries (which comes from potatoes with light exposure). It's hard to tell from the picture I posted, but these fries had green tips on the ends. Usually the spots are much bigger, showing up on at least one or two fries per order. I'm not sure if Cluck N Cleaver cuts their own or if they come from a supplier, but I wish the quality control was a bit tighter on that. That said, I still happily order them. Just keep an eye on the fries. Even with that minor issue, I keep coming back because the chicken and dips are just that good. If you want some of the best fried chicken in the city, Cluck N Cleaver is the place to go.

Definitely a must in Calgary! Everything was great, big fan of the biscuits and tenders - will definitely be back when I’m on the west coast.

Came down to River Hall and had one of their amazing mother clucker chicken sandwiches. So delicious and everyone there was wonderful. Do it! Come have a sandwich!!

We love this chicken! The quality and taste can’t be beat. We’ve been fortunate enough to get a few orders via Too Good To Go, and the chicken reheats perfectly in the oven. Also, the potato salad is fantastic!

Today is 10th birthday and Mother Clucker sandwhich is on sale. For me fresh chicken breast made to order. Disappointed as I think the flavours are too bold and not properly balanced so I could not taste the chicken though I knew it was there.

DANG the sandwiches here are too delicious. We have to force ourselves not to go everyday. The incredible chicken smell wafts as far as our front door. Good shakes and lovely staff too.

Not from Calgary, but I did visit during my trip. If anything this restaurant is a must stop everytime im in Calgary from now on. I just loved it. One of the best chicken burgers. I remember the experience fondly within the restaurant aswell. Very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Calgary.

first time trying this location for lunch today and i gotta say it was incredible. the staff were so friendly, the food was amazing and flavorful. the chicken was tender and juicy, the fries were crispy without being burnt. 10/10 would recommend

Very good Southern fry chicken. The seasoning are superb. You can taste the spices in the white meat. The crisp of the Fried Chicken's is very crispy. The staff are super friendly. They even asked which pieces do I like for my 10 pieces Fried Chicken. Super good customer service. We liked the breast and rib and they make sure our order have the most of these pieces. The gravy is made from scratch very good taste like it made from a rue with flour. The price can be expensive but I definitely will go back just for the customer service and a good tasty chicken. Definitely should try this place if you're in town.

Man alive! I’m going to start off by saying that CNC has quite possibly the best fried chicken in the city. Not greasy, juicy and moist, and the chicken breading is tasty. The staff was very friendly and the inside was clean. The biscuits were also excellent; flakey and not dry. I wish they would change their fries as they are usually quite underwhelming and get soggy really quick. I also found the gravy to be a little bland. All in all it’s some good quality eats. Would recommend!

Cluck and cleaver makes amazing fried chicken. It’s really remarkably good. I almost never eat fast food. But this is a special treat. Their fries are really good, as is their gravy and their coleslaw. They are always exceedingly pleasant. The atmosphere is fine, but it’s a takeout
