Adorable little French breakfast place. The brioche pancake was delicious. We also order the polenta that was creaming and smooth, the mediterranean sandwich was very tasty
Loupiotte Kitchen was a dreamy French cafe. Their creamy polenta was rich and comforting. The brioche French toast, topped with citrus, berries, and cream was pure joy. The soft French music also added to the cozy vibe. Definitely a must for anyone who loves breakfast done with elegance and heart.
This was by far the BEST brunch I’ve ever had in LA. This cute little French diner had the most perfect cozy ambiance, it’s like you take a step out of the city and into family owned establishment in France. The service was amazing, our food came out swiftly. Everything tasted fresh and made with love. I got the soft scrambled eggs and half French toast, my husband got the American in Paris breakfast meal, our total came up to $70 which is probably the cheapest meal we had during our visit. I expected to pay way more because the food quality was top tier! If you’re looking for a touch of France please come to Loupiotte! I can assure you will not regret it! It’s in a quiet area of Los Feliz. It’s quite accessible and there is parking nearby. We went on a Friday morning and it was not busy at all! I’m not sure if it’s the same on the weekends, but if it’s packed I can surely understand why!
We had a fabulous brunch here. Everything is cooked very freshly and you’re definitely eating the rainbow as you enjoy some French Classics. The eggs are all cooked so beautifully, just creamy perfection. Even simple things like the avocado toast were lovely. The atmosphere is great with both indoor and outdoor dining .
cute lil french bistro, warm service, loveliest vibe (i preferred sitting indoors than streetside). ordered the potato soup which was delicious. my friend ordered the creamy polenta and it was good too. only slightly underwhelming dish was the steak frites.. steak was a lil tough.. probably wont go out of my way to dine here again.. but ill pop in for a glass of wine if i happen to be in the hood. solid wine list and they serve Pet Nat!
The service, food & atmosphere are perfection! Cozy, eclectic, upscale yet casual. You can taste the magic and passion in every bite! From my cocoa dusted cappuccino, soft scrambled eggs, and almond croissant- everything was immaculate & melt in your chair delicious. Simple decadence, delightfully done. The owner was warm & inviting and made you feel like a part of the family, service was outstanding. Don’t miss this authentic French treat!
Aside from the delicious food and beautiful atmosphere, I really appreciated the kids utensils, plates, cups and plenty of French books to keep the little ones entertained. Thank you for that
First time solo customer; sat outside, and my breakfast was très bon! Served with grace, care, and pride. Every single ingredient was wonderful and cooked perfectly. All the flavors and textures commingled beautifully. They can’t help it that the building next to them is boarded up. All the employees could not have been more pleasant and friendly. Definitely will return and bring friends. Oui, I recommend!
absolutely amazing french restaurant. all the staff that engaged with us were so impressively kind. we initially came for the french onion soup as we heard absolutely amazing things about the dish, but later came to find it’s only served in the evenings. the inside of the restaurant is so extremely homey and cute. i love the feel of this place. the food however. i cannot believe how great it was. we dined for brunch and it was fantastic. the soft scramble and the rene’s burrito were both incredible!!! perfect restaurant with high quality ingredients that you can taste the first moment. cannot wait for the opportunity to come back and try more of the menu. i absolutely recommend this wonderful place!!! 10/10.
A delicious French Bistro in the East Hollywood area. It’s surrounded by a quite neighborhood so there’s plenty of street parking available but also a pay lot close if you prefer. It’s very small, but that’s what adds to the appeal to me as it’s a wonderful date spot or somewhere to eat with friends or family. Service was a bit slow due to the aforementioned size of the restaurant and kitchen but when the food came it was worth the wait. Also our waiter was very polite so we didn’t mind the wait honestly. Unfortunately the French Onion Soup wasn’t available tonight so I opted for the Butternut Squash soup and loved it. My favorite part was the smooth goat cheese dollop in the center. For my entree I chose the fish special which was Grilled Cod and Farro. I would have not picked the sides of this dish if I was ordering it custom but the fish itself and the dill butter sauce were wonderful. We topped off the meal with the Bread Pudding and it too was delicious. It was a mix of a croissant and brioche bread and every bit of it was consumed. Overall a really solid French Bistro and a place to have a quiet and intimate meal and conversation. I would recommend to anyone and plan to be back.
Such a wonderful, authentic French restaurant... Their brioche French toast and chai drink are both delicious. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for French cuisine!! Support local restaurants!
Met for a late lunch here on a Saturday. We had to wait for a table but there were lots of cute shops nearby to browse, so we didn't mind. Coffee was delicious. I had an Americano and a companion had a double espresso. We tried the Tunisian Shakshuka with potatoes, the cheeseboard and the avocado toast with chicken. All were delightful.
I want to share a very special story I experienced here. My son was going through spinal surgery a few blocks down from the restaurant. He was in the pediatric ICU for 2 days. After long days and nights immediately after the surgery, I needed a break and decided to walk a few blocks to have brunch at a local restaurant. Thats when I came upon Loupiotte Kitchen. I was greeted in a friendly manner by who seemed to be a manager. She had a warm smile with cool tattoos. Her first question to me was “Whats going on?” I was confused by her question until I realized she was looking at my visitor sticker from the hospital. I told her about my son, and she responded with “can you please give these to your son. They were my favorite as a kid.” She brought me a box of cookies. After ordering her recommendation that was AMAZING, I asked her for my bill. She proceeded to tell me that the gentleman sitting next to me, overheard my story and took care of my bill. I was really overwhelmed with emotion. I will never forget my experience there.
This small restaurant is very cute and pretty! The ambiance is sooo relaxing and they have both indoor and outdoor seatings. Important note!!! They automatically add 18% tip to your bill Foods that we order: - Scrambled Egg . The highlight of this dish is the pesto toast! The pesto is fresh and the bread is toasted very well; crispy and buttery . Egg is soft and fluffy and covered with grated parmesan cheese . Highly recommended!!! - Creamy Polenta. I add mine with bacon because I need that extra crunch to my dish ! The parmesan cheese once again covers the whole thing HAHA the most unique thing about this dish is actually the crispy poached egg; a deep fried, battered, poached egg . The batter gives extra crisps and the runny egg yolk gives extra creaminess. Delicious - Raspberry Jam Bombolone . I expect more fillings from this bombolone. A great restaurant, I cannot wait to go back and try other foods.
The French really know how to soft scramble an egg! If you are a lover of omelets and egg dishes, Loupiotte Kitchen is a wonderful choice. Enjoyed their French Cafe atmosphere and delicious breakfast. Looking forward to returning for dinner and of course, a lovely cafe au lait!
Had an excellent lunch here with a few friends, one of them lives around and he recommended Loupiotte Kitchen. I had the tuna melt sandwich and it was so good. The bread toasts are warm and moist, the salad fresh and appetizing, and delicious tuna melt. The portion is pretty generous for the price. Friendly service and chill atmosphere, we had a great time.
