Amazing place for South Indian food at Vancouver. The best part is that they are open from 7 am. So you can have breakfast !! Staff is super good, service is prompt and portions are pretty good. Pretty less oil in dosas, and great taste. Loved it !!
Overall it’s a great place for south-Indian food like Dosa & idli. I tried paneer butter dosa. It was delicious. Also tried the homemade kulfi, it was average. Also tried mango lassi, it was more like a mango shake with no hints of buttermilk.
Had a lovely meal here. Very generous portions and service fast and accurate. The manager was lovely and enjoyed our time here! Affordable as well! Butter chicken curry was great. Also, I left my bag at the table And the manger ran after me! Thank you for your help. :)
24 hour South Indian restaurant, loved the open view of the street from the sitting area, with friendly and fast service. The favorite combo of coffee and masala dosa did not disappoint. I would recommend this place for good Indian food.
Love this place! The food was delicious and the owner Hanna was welcoming! The ambience is great and the seating near the door is cute! A clean place, great service and yummy dosa’s. We sure did have a perfect breakfast this morning!
Had an amazing dinner. The server was extremely friendly and polite. The food was fantastic. The chicken lollipops are delicious. The street style Hakka was a solid choice - the right amount of spice. A story that proves this place is a great place - my brother comes here on random Fridays and told me about it. When I was ordering today, the server had a full polite conversation about meeting my brother. This place is a solid 5 stars!
Continuous amazing service from the sweet gentleman here who was welcoming and pointed towards the menu and helped a lot with understanding the options on it and the coconut korma curry really exceeded my craving hope and it was like something I've never tried before It was so nice and different that it came with perfectly fluffy naan which was not too buttery too. Only thing was it was a bit too spicy for me like a lot of South Indian food even though I asked for mild. Still it was really nice to be asked for the spice level. Also it was exciting to see the beautiful wall fully covered with a textured design and getting updated with a gold color. I think the gentleman noticed I was having a time convincing the dog to stay in the car while I got the order and he thoughtfully came outside with it too which probably inspired the dog with faith in humanity too
Ordered: paneer momos (fried), lamb momos (steamed) & chicken Biryani Loved everything we ordered, chicken was juicy & tender and loved the 2 kinds of sauces for the fried momos We enjoyed the rich flavour of the lamb momos so much, we ordered a box to-go too. The service, absolutely amazing! We're definitely recommending this place to all our friends & family!
Visited this Indo-Chinese restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it! We tried the paneer momos and chili garlic noodles, both were delicious and full of flavor. The hosts were very warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!
The staff are so sweet and kind. Food is incredible! Everything on the menu tasted so good, and they even gave us some complimentary heart-shaped potato patties Dec 14: we came back and had wonderful time and amazing food again
Overall a great culinary experience. Great flavors that are not overwhelming and yet extremely flavorful. I got the chicken biriyani and it was amazing! I need to try the goat biriyani next time, and so many other interesting dishes. They absolutely gained a new customer. Thank you for the good food, great service and good conversation.
Dosa was good, sambhar is ok though. Also the Hakka noodles were bit overcooked but other than that the food was good. Good to have a place with an option of south Indian food and info Chinese cuisine in Richmond.
