Shish House Greensboro

We have only had Mediterranean dood a couple of times before, it The Shish House really delivered a fantastic meal. The humus was delicious, the pita bread was served warm and soft, the chicken broth soup was delicious, and salad was so yummy. But the Sakai chicken was the star of the show. BTW, the fruit smoothies were sooo yummy too. And lets jot forget the excellent service. It is a nice family owned and operated restaurant.

I have seen posts about this restaurant for a few months on NC halal foodies group, and finally decided to visit from Durham. By far, it was a wonderful experience! Service was very fast! Food was served real quick. We ordered the chicken mandi, chicken shawerma, hummus , fresh juice and their bread. We loved everything! The taste, authenticity, freshness, all in all a 5 star experience. We were served with complementary Yemeni Tea in the end, which was very soothing! Only thing I raised an eyebrow was at the price of the chicken mandi, I think it was a bit overpriced for the quantity. Would definitely visit again insha Allah

Recommended! My first experience of the Yemini food! Platter for 2 which included mixed meat things, was so tasty! Wings were okay! But hummus, bread and salad was above all! very nice place to dine-in.

Highly recommend this place. If you are looking for authentic Yemeni food then this is the place. Everything tasted amazing and the food was hot and fresh. Our dessert was so delicious and I can't wait to come back!

The pictures do not do the food justice… these are just the appetizers. Our entrees were top notch! Fresh amazing flavors and so good! If you love Mediterranean, Middle Eastern food you will fall in love with this place. It’s off the beaten path but we’ll worth the venture over there and the staff and owners are so wonderful and gracious. Please go support this business!

My food was more than amazing!!!! & let’s not forget to mention the superior customer service I received. I felt at home, at the dinner table, the music was great!! The garlic sauce/spread & steaming warm pita bread was such a light, refreshing taste with all natural VEGAN FRIENDLY ingredients. I had the Lamb Zorbian & and i will say I slept the entire night away when I got home. I was so full from so much great food!! The chicken and Hummus was so tasteful. The citrus, zesty flavors with the fresh hummus and the tender marinated chicken was TOP TIER!! This is one of my top 5 choices of restaurants.

Was here in Ramadan, and they offered dates and tea as courtesy, while we wait for our order. Excellent food though they should go easy on the amount of white rice or offer some other rice variety or bread instead. Will surely come again. Thanks

Halal and worth trying- customer service is okay. Its been a few times since we been here and sometimes we have communication issues but works out at the end. We love their tandoori roti and especially come here for that. their chicken and beef sandwiches are a must try. Amazing for the price and tastes . Love that they have a separate corner for praying. I wish more halal places would do the same.
