It's really unfortunate that their food is sooooooo good :( I've been trying to save money by not eating out but my family made an exception for them ONLY. I also don't feel guilty because their food is sooo affordable, I'm eating high quality fresh foods. Also, they are consistent. Every time I try something new from their menu, unfortunately I REALLY like it....forcing me to return for more :) THEE BEST in the Northeast! Top 2 and they ain't 2! <3
This lamb chop platter was only $19.99 and so delicious! I can’t believe the prices of this place-it’s an incredible gem of the Northeast. I’m lucky it’s not far from my house! I love the food, so tasty
Move aside, cheese steaks! Al-Baik's chicken shawarma is my #1 tastiest, most flavorful Philly sandwich (well, technically, a wrap). The food is made with great care and love. One wrap easily feeds two adults. The included homemade pickles and mild hot sauce were great complements to the wrap. My side order of baba ghanouj was delicious too. Staff is friendly and courteous. The dining room was simple, clean, and comfortable. Street parking wasn't a problem to find at lunchtime on a weekday. I highly recommend Al-Baik to all who enjoy top-quality, scratch-cooked, authentic Mediterranean flavor.
Phenomenal food. This place is a gem. Very fresh and taste is so good that you feel like you’re in Middle East.
If you want to eat and want to get the most for your money, you should definitely dine here. I was surprised how delicious the food is. I ordered mixed grilled kebabs and every single bite I had was juice, and delicious. I will 100% want to eat here again.
Their chicken Shawarma is really good. One of the best Palestinian restaurant in the area. The server was really nice and professional. I also got to try Palestine cola which was really good.
I ordered through DoorDash and got the medium mixed grill along with a side of falafel. The food arrived hot and was packaged well. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and full of flavor. They honestly have some of the best kafta I’ve had in Philadelphia in a very long time — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The grilled wing dings were amazing and cooked to perfection. The falafel was fresh and delicious as well. The bread, rice, and overall presentation were on point. Everything tasted great. Iftar was definitely a hit in my home — Alhamdulillah! Highly recommend.
Delicious food for a very good price. Shawarma wraps are on point and their mixed grill platter has delicious meats for a group of 3-4 people. Definitely recommend this spot if you crave some middle eastern Halal food. The staff is the most friendiest and will always accommodate as they can for any request.
