Shelby's Legendary Shawarma

Here for National Shawarma Day! The food was delicious and quantity was very reasonable. My biggest highlight was how fast my food came. I ordered 2 wraps, 2 rice bowls, and the famous boutine and the food was ready for me in 5 minutes. Talk about speed! Well deserved 5 star rating to Masonville's Shelby's Legendary Shawarma

Great shawarma. Decent prices too for the legendary chicken wrap. Absurd receipt size. It has a whole section on some made up "ketchup waiver" which is a ridiculous waste of paper. Limited seating but it doesn't seem to get that busy.

I do like coming to Shelby’s even at this location across from CF Masonville Place. However, I may reduce coming to Shelby’s since how the economy and eating out cost so much now. I was recently there just a couple days ago. I paid for 1 chicken shawarma wrap, 1 chicken tawook rice bowl, and another rice bowl that is beef and lamb. We did not add any extra orders of sides, drinks or made it into a combo. After tax, it cost $52.50 for 1 shawarma wrap and 2 rice bowls without a combo (no sides of fries or drinks). I enjoyed the food, but not so much in this economy as that is a few hours of working minimum wage to pay off 3 items of food at Shelby’s. It is also more of an hassle now how the new Chic-Fil-A across from Masonville Mall is causing more traffic and confusion coming in and out of this plaza hence finding a safe spot to parked to have access to Shelby’s. I wish either TonyRoma’s restaurant or Fionn MacCool’s Irish Pub is still a better alternative over Chic-Fil-A in the Masonville area. I do enjoyed eating at Shelby’s, but just to let you know eating out in general will cost you between $15.00 to $30.00 per person. I would like to enjoy Shelby’s again, but inflation is getting out of control. I have to reduce eating out as not many people can afford to spend almost $20.00 for a rice bowl without the combo. Every fast food franchise you go now is getting expensive. I recommend their beef and lamb. Try their Italian Caesar wrap or the Mexican burrito. Yes, it is 100% Canadian. Their Mac & Cheese bowl and the Tikka Masala bowl are so good, too. Enjoy Shelby’s but just a heads up fast food prices have skyrocketed over the years. I have to feel bad for the young generations how they will never see cheap prices again. Update: I decided to come back at this Shelby’s location again across from Masonville Mall. I had their Italian Bacon Caesar wrap. I enjoyed it; however, I have to eat it while at Masonville Mall. I was about to dine-in at Shelby’s. There were two young girls having Domino’s pizza at Shelby’s and there is another man who is a paying customer at Shelby’s sitting down while waiting for his order. I have no where to sit while waiting for my order. Another thing Shelby’s should consider is not to allow any Outside Food or Drinks. As a guy who has a heart. I would not judge those two young girls bringing outside food from Domino’s at their restaurant as it is a cold day. There is the cafeteria, or the food court at Masonville Mall they can sit down there and eat. That would have been a better alternative, but since it is cold just that one time. I am paying almost $15.00 for a premium wrap with no combo as it is expensive in this economy. I am a paying customer, but those people bringing in outside food has somewhere to sit even they are not paying for their services and I do not get a seat? Restaurants should be taking control to not allow Outside Food, and Drinks on their premises this also includes movie theatres and other private property that set their own policy. Customers should have the etiquette to have NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS at any restaurants. Restaurants have the rights to denied entry or must be eating elsewhere before entering. I go to restaurants and movie theatres. I never bring any outside food or drinks into their establishment. I buy their food, drinks and other products from them. Restaurants needs to have more restrictions to prohibited outside food and drinks. Thank you, I have to go to Masonville Mall across to street to eat my Shelby’s wrap during the Canadian winter while someone who brought outside food took the seats while they did not buy anything at Shelby’s. If anyone who are not a paying customer then be elsewhere and take your outside food/beverages elsewhere.

I recently tried the Chicken Tikka Shawarma, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was seasoned to perfection and so tender, and the portion size was generous enough to satisfy my cravings. The service was also super fast and the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. It was a truly enjoyable experience, and I can’t wait to go back! Thanks to Mukesh for making it such a great place.

Excellent experience at Shelby’s Shawarma. The shawarma was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The kunafa dessert was exceptional and a perfect way to finish the meal. Great quality food and service overall. Highly recommended.

Amazing place! I come here every Friday, and the food never disappoints. The staff are some of the nicest people you’ll meet — always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help. It’s such a comfortable and positive atmosphere every time I visit. !Highly recommend!
