Well, I had a really good time at this restaurant. For a comfort food, it is really not greasy or oily. It was a really nice place and the service was so welcoming! I definitely recommend this place if you want some food near Plateau. The burger was pretty good and not overly priced. I will say that the poutine was pretty good too. Stop by and chill with friends at this place! It’s really worth it!
Hanging out in Montreal on business and it's dinner time. The weather is nice out so we chose to walk to this spot and check it out after I had done some Yelp research! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is super chill and set in downtown, but in more of the trendy, neighborhood district away from all the giant skyscrapers. It's all small restaurants, shops, brick streets and apartments around this way. There's no private parking lot, so good luck finding space on the street. The outside looks very modern with matte steel finishings among the brick exterior of the building. Inside looks just as modern, but with a retro twist. There's also outdoor seating if you'd like to dine outdoors as well. Service: We sat at the bar and our bartender was helpful, sweet, attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. Food: I started off with their Jalapeno Poppers which are fried breaded jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese served with Sriracha mayonnaise. These were fairly decent and I enjoyed them as the start to a good meal. For my entree I decided on the Philly Sandwich which is steak, caramalized onions, roasted red peppers, sauteed mushrooms with melted cheese. It was delightful, but felt a little on the small side. Of course it comes with fries or some other side, but I opted for the side salad to try keeping things a little healthier. Value: Pretty standard, tavern-like pricing that won't break the bank and you won't be eating McDonald's cheap either. Right in the middle. In conclusion, I really enjoyed this place and I'd consider revisiting to try out some other things on the menu.
Drink was really good, recommended by bartender ( I ordered san mojito but he recommended this one). The food was ok but I prefer the one in Longueuil branch.
The ambiance is great here and the food is delicious! I had the vegan taco and poutine grilled cheese and they were both amazing! You can definately taste the ginger in the taco so if you dont like ginger dont go for that. Their poutine and tots are really great as well.
I love this place! They have a very nice backyard seating with heaters all around. The ambiance is amazing! They have a comfort food menu: dishes vary from poutines, tacos, sandwiches, burgers and Mac and cheese options! We decided to go for the poutine with nachos and veggies and the poulet gyro sandwich. Both were amazing and flavour packed!Their drinks are really good as well! We tried the beignets for desserts but they weren’t that great I was so happy in my visit and I can’t wait to go again! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Great food, very indulgent and comfort oriented menu. We went on a Saturday around 8 and had to wait about 20 mins for a table (we were a group of 5) and only after we had sat at the table for 15 mins were we told the kitchen had an hour long wait for any food orders. That was a bit annoying and we wish we'd known that earlier so we could have gone somewhere else for food. However, the food was delicious and serving sizes huge. Also the prices were awesome!
I ordered the Mac Poppers and absolutely loved it!!! Super cheesy and filling. As you can see I finished it. Our server was also super nice. Definitely recommend and will be returning!
Visited this place with some friends and I was pleased. I only had dessert, fried cookie dough with vanilla ice cream, and I can say it was really good! My friend's vegan butter chicken was ok but she did say she could not spot a lot of cilantro or mushrooms. Drinks selection was good and they have the nicest patio inside the restaurant. The waiter was really attentive and the blonde bartender was hot as dayuuuum. And I am not a fan of blondes really... so IMAGINE!
Really nice restaurant in the plateau area. Service was fast and very friendly. Decor inside has a nice bar feel and there's a great terrasse In the back. Food is pretty good also but a little pricy for what you get in my opinion. Great place to bring a date or have a few drinks with friends. :)
This restaurant has a wide variety of options, including a good selection of vegetarian options. Included are a whole variety of burgers, sandwiches, Poutine, Mac n cheese, and even fish n chips (though we were not recommended this dish). I ordered the deluxe burger with sweet potato fries. The "deluxe" added fillings such as bacon, onion rings, cheese curds, and a BBQ sauce. The burger came out really tall and needed a fair amount of squashing before I could fit it into my mouth comfortably. Nonetheless, this was a good burger. Amongst the many drink options, you can get jugs of sangria which are good to share. Just be careful of the large amount of ice in the jugs that can splatter sangria around as you pour. The service we had was attentive and helpful, with the food service being a little on the slow side but still fine.
Grate fish tacos and the Cuban sandwich was really really good. But I'm giving this place four starts because the fish burger was not good, the bunds were old and hard and the taste wasn't that good either.
A brunch that has a delicious tofu scramble and veggie sausage option... what’s not to love?! Also the $3 mimosas are pretty sweet too.
Amazing drinks and food, Shaheen was so welcoming and fun! Would recommend to anyone looking to have a nice time !! Come see him at the bar
