Can’t say much for dining in, only ever ordered online. First let me just say… that mushroom congee is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Please extend it past the breakfast menu! I will order it well into lunch hours! Fish sandwich also excellent, always leaves me craving another one sadly and that isn’t so viable here given the price for just one. I’ve also tried the whitefish tartine - it was good, but also a lot. Congee 10/10, fish sandwich 8.5/10, tartine 7/10. Coffees are solid.

Sound is part of the experience—specifically, the kind of crisp from its fish sandwich that practically echoes. It’s a place where crispy reigns supreme. Order at the window and grab a seat inside or out. The seasonal salad—purple cabbage dressed in a miso-forward, Japanese-leaning vinaigrette—is bright, tasty and light. Then, the reason people flock here: the fried fish sandwich. One bite and I got it. The beer-battered striped bass is engineered for peak crunch—so loud and crisp. A soft potato bun, dill pickles, kewpie mayo, and a slice of american cheese round it out, each playing a precise role. The crispy nori potatoes keep the crunch coming—piping hot, dusted in nori salt, and practically designed for dunking into the garlicky aioli. Impossible to eat just one. Inside, there’s a small bar and well-curated shop, but the fish sandwich is the real reason you’re here.

The fish sandwich is delish. Was looking for a good fish sandwich for a long time and finally found it. The nori fries were also fire. The place next door has an awesome selection of brews and spirits so you’re in for a treat. Enjoy

As you know, I'm a coffeeholic. I'm always looking for coffee. I came across little fish on a whim. I think the name threw me off a bit, Little Fish doesn’t really sound like coffee, but they have coffee! They actually have a great looking menu full of things I love. From fish sandwiches to congee to coffee. Little Fish is in Dada Market. They have an order window outside and they have lots of outdoor seating. I didn't go into the market so not sure if you can order inside and not sure if there is seating inside. There is street parking and parking in the back that you do have to pay for. I got an iced Elsinore which is a “okinawan black sugar sweetened latte with a cream top made of sour cream, condensed milk & heavy cream”, and it was pretty good. My main focus during this visit was coffee, so I will definitely e coming back to try their food. It looks delish!

I never knew food could taste so good. It’s like each flavor was violently assaulting one another, fighting to get first place towards the finish line that is my taste buds. This Smoked white fish tartine could single handedly solve world hunger. It was hand carried to me with a smile. Great staff, definitely recommend.

Tbh best fish sandwich I’ve had since I moved to the west coast / top 3 of all time , and I’m from Rhode Island . My boyfriend got the steak sandwich, that was also great but he was ultimately jealous of my fish sandy. The salad was also refreshing and the cheese was great.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all know the fish sandwich is a 5/5. But I wanted to come for the breakfast. I got the Elsinore coffee while I was waiting and that was so damn good. It tops the Maru Cream Top. It’s indulgent, but it’s worth it and I’m going to crave it. I grabbed my two dishes to go, featuring the Brown Cheese Toast and the Fish Congee. The Congee kind of melted on side of my toast as it was in the bag on my way home (5 min away) but it didn’t seem to change any textures or flavors. The toast is unlike anything I have tried before, the salt and cheesy taste is delicious and the bread is incredible. The white on the piece of bread is a fat slab of butter. lol. Maybe a little too much tbh. Half way through I dumped the butter off and ate it with just the cheese and bread. Delicious. Will I crave this dish or order it again? Probably not. But it was a good addition to my Fish Congee. The Fish Congee looked a little sad on the eyes (in a to go bowl) but as I dipped my spoon in there, it revealed the fish, mushrooms, etc. and damn it’s good. The perfect amount of Chili oil, great tasing fish, and the egg was cooked to perfection. Would I order this again? Yes. This makes me want to come back to try the Tartine and the pancakes. I think this is overall a great option for a quick grab upscale weekday breakfast/brunch.

Their fish sandwich was top notch crunch, but their steak sandwich was okay. I also really enjoyed their banana milk matcha latte.

Lives up to the hype. Fish was fried perfectly , light and flaky. The bun, cheese and pickles were a great compliment to the fish. Potatoes were also good, especially the aioli. Seating is outdoors and shared.

Came here for breakfast and coffee! We loved the shrimp sausage sandwich, excellently seasoned and spiced with a sauce that reminds me of Thai food. Bread was also fluffy and soaked up the sauce nicely. The ham and cheese sandwich was not quite to my taste but the serving was generous compared to the shrimp sandwich. Nori potatoes were crispy yet creamy and the mayo was perfect. I wish the seaweed flavor was stronger though! Cream top Americano had a great mouthfeel and the sour cream notes came through. Espresso was strong and delicious too. The cappuccino was ok, and the Elsinore latte was too sweet so I preferred the Americano with cream top. There were plenty of paid street parking spots at opening time on Friday morning!

I ordered the fish sandwich. It was pretty good. Fish tasted high quality. Bread was good. Sauce could have been better. Biggest downside was that service seemed slow. Took 20 minutes to get my food.

I’ve had Little Fish since they were a pop-up, but I cannot be more excited for them to have an actual location now. The food is so, so good and the team is fully of lovely people. Cannot wait to come back!

The PERFECT fish sandwich. I’d been hearing the hype and had to try it. The sandwich did not disappoint. So simple, yet done just right. The fish was so fresh and flaky and crispy on the outside. I also tried the broccoli sandwich, which was really unique. It was bitter but in a good way, very earthy and delicious. The garlic smashed potatoes were a hit with their delicious aioli and the cauliflower was cooked perfectly, not overcooked and with some unique flavors like mint and macadamia nut. Overall it was definitely worth the hype. Dada market was lovely too and I picked up some pretty tulips.

Excited to finally try the permanent version of the fish sandwich pop up. Boo swears by the signature fish sandwich, like she'd go to the end of the earth for it. Nice to see the built out version of the space after the partial usage it had for the past decade. It shares space with a market so you go in and order at a bar type set up then you can sit there, stand there or sit outside. The fish sandwich was still amazing. I tried the steak sandwich which is actually a roast beef sandwich, ok? Also got the side potatoes which are a must. Cappuccino was very good. Sandwichs are basically 20 bucks each. They also have a breakfast menu that looked intriguing. Pro tip is get there between 11 to 12.

Best fish sandwich in the biz. Wow. They are clearly using super fresh ingredients. Don’t miss out on the other culinary delights on the menu. Friendly staff and very close to Echo Park Lake.
