Stumbled across Pincette while walking around on Christmas Eve. As soon as we entered, Tommy was so welcoming and accommodating! The interior is lovely, the food is excellent and the service is outstanding!!! Tommy and Florence were so lovely and helpful. Highly recommend if you're ever in the area!
We ordered the soup and ratatouille to start which were a perfect beginning to a beautiful meal. The main course of ½ Lobster and Lobster Poutine were out of this world. By far our best meal in Canada so far. Perfect location in Montreal old town surrounded by beautiful buildings, we would definitely say the walk from our hotel was worth it. Everything was topped off by the wonderful service we received from Vana who couldn't do enough for us. She was so friendly, cheerful and helpful throughout the meal. If you're in Montreal definitely put this place on your list.
We had the grilled octopus & oysters as an appetizer, they were both delicious! For meals we had the lobster roll and lobster. Both were good but not wow. I was expecting the lobster roll to be a bit bigger with chunkier lobster pieces (expectation from what I saw people eating when walking by their exterior terrace in the summer time ). Overall it was good , the service was great. I would come back!
a good place to dine in old montreal! food and service was good. seafood platter served was delcious and fresh. although the portion couldve been larger. biggest disappointment was the dessert. they only had 3 items and the one we ordered waz thjs deconstructed lemon tart (basically they were too lazy or incapable of making the tart so they called it deconstructed). it was just the cream and the mouse plus some bread crumbs. come for the seafood, skip the dessert.
Cloth napkins and tip NOT forced on you by the machine, wins my heart and puts to bed two of my usual restaurant pet peeves. Our first meal in old Montreal and it didn't disappoint. We did the two course lunch. The couscous salad was excellent as was the Mahi Mahi. The burrata pasta was pretty good, a bit flat for some reason. The burrata was excellent but the meal itself fell a bit short despite how great it looked. Service and atmosphere were both excellent. Highly recommend.
This was our first meal in Montréal and we walked there from our hotel in the old town area on a rainy day. Ordered some very delicious Canadian oysters, arancini, clam chowder and a lobster and snow crab poutine. Also had a lovely Québécois ice wine to end the evening. Servers were really kind and friendly and let us know what we ordered was definitely a good portion for the night.
Éloïse was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant was not too crowded, and the waiting time after ordering was short, which made the experience very pleasant. Both the lobster and the oysters were delicious. Overall, I was very satisfied with the service and the food.
We’ve been to this restaurant for a brunch. We ordered orange and passionfruit smoothie, which was very delicious. For main course we ordered lobster poutine with hollandaise cheese, which was very delicious and I really love it and waffles with chicken, which was OK but the chicken was way too crispy for me. The service was good. It was a bit slow because we went on the weekend and it was very busy there, but the atmosphere was nice.
