I can’t get over this place! The quality of the fish and flavors are outstanding, every piece is delicious. Chef Aiden and Chef Sunny are incredible, and the whole team is so attentive. We love sitting at the bar and come here weekly because it’s always consistent and always excellent. Highly recommend doing the omakase at the bar, it’s such a great experience!
The best sushi spot in LA! The staff are exceptionally kind and attentive, and Chef Aiden always serves up the freshest sushi I always feel so welcomed here and I bring all my friends! 100/10 reccomend
We came on a Sunday of a long holiday weekend but we still needed to book a reservation pretty far in advance. The parking is tough but there were a few meters open so we didn’t have to use the valet. We were seated right away and placed our order. The food comes out as it’s ready for the most part so we opted to share as a group so we could enjoy things together. The sashimi was excellent and the presentation was impressive. I also appreciated how small the restaurant was. It was a great place for a trio or a date night.
This is an amazing sushi spot! My friend took me here for my birthday, and it turned out to be such a memorable culinary experience. I loved all the small dishes, the sushi rolls, and the sashimi—everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. They’re well-known for their high-quality sushi and have three locations in the LA area. The staff was so sweet—they brought out mochi ice cream for my birthday and even sang to me! What a thoughtful touch. What a treat—I highly recommend this place for both special occasions and casual sushi cravings.
Sashimi is VERY good. Salmon hand roll is very good. Spicy tuna crispy rice is decent. Tiger Crunch roll I expected to be hot, but it's cold. Huge portion. Very salty, but good. Cherry blossom roll is DELICIOUS. Especially the salmon one. Sponge cake and the mochi are delicious. I love that you can just keep ordering as you go, and it comes out really quickly. Excellent happy hour deal til 6:30pm. Makes it way cheaper. Good and friendly service. Tables are a bit too close together; hard to have private conversation. They're also pretty small.
I had a great experience here at Sushi Enya Beverly Hills location. It was a great vibe I had. I chose to sit at the sushi bar and I was glad I made the right decision. I wanted to get some appetizer dish and about 8 sushi nigiris so I chose to leave it up to chef's recommendations. Chef Aiden and Chef Kassie helped me with the sushi selections and everything was great, the fish was very fresh. I will definitely come back because this place has become my go-to for dinner now! Will bring more of my my friends and family next time!
I don’t even wanna write a review, cause I don’t want more people to come. But this is one of the best sushi I’ve ever, and I’ve traveled to Japan. Chef, Aiden, and the rest of his staff are one of the best happiest, thoughtful people that I’ve ever experienced in LA. The fish is always fresh !! ALWAYS this my my go to birthday / celebration spot. 10/10
In conclusion, this place is the ultimate sushi omakase restaurant. I'm a big fan of sushi and enjoy touring various sushi spots for omakase experiences. My usual go-to spot was Sushi Enya in Pasadena. However, as of today, I would like to crown this Beverly Hills Sushi Enya as my number one sushi restaurant. I made a reservation for the omakase here and arrived on time to be seated at the sushi bar. The chef in charge of our omakase today was Chef Aidan. He stood tall with an expert expression at the center of the sushi bar. The overall impression of the omakase was that they focused not just on the superficial performance of sushi but on the true taste of sushi and the skill of bringing out the flavor and maturity of the sashimi. I connected with Chef Aidan on Instagram, and I plan to visit this Beverly Hills Sushi Enya frequently in the future. Whether you're new to sushi or have plenty of sushi experiences, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. And if you get the chance, I encourage you to try the omakase experience.
Sushi Enya in Beverly Hills offers an excellent dining experience with very fresh fish and beautifully prepared dishes. The atmosphere is calm elegant and perfect for a relaxed sushi dinner. The chefs pay attention to quality and presentation and the flavors are clean and balanced. The service is friendly and professional which makes the meal even more enjoyable. Overall a great place for anyone who loves high quality sushi and a comfortable dining setting.
I had an omakase dinner with Chef Rhee, and everything from his hands was magical. All sushi was just so good, keeping the traditional spirit of omakase with a touch of creativity. All the servers were very attentive, professional, and cautiously friendly. Especially truffle sprinkled hirame and toro was just magical. Chef sometimes adds zesty lemon on one of sushi, which was new to me but still very delicious. When you consider the quality of the food, I don't think this place is expensive at all. The server Kogi (sorry if I remembered your name wrong) was also very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend and definitely revisit!!
Had a lovely omakase experience here. Chef Aiden was fun, charismatic and super talented. The entire staff made sure we were having a great experience from start to finish. I have done quite a few omakases and I believe this had the most food, variety and the best value of any I have tried. Really lovely experience I can’t wait to go back
1/13/23: The waitress recommended the sushi in particular here (as opposed to the rolls) and she was right. The chu-toro sushi was extraordinary and the halibut was a close second. Also ordered the Lemon Roll and the Crunchy Vegas Roll which were decent but not in the same league as the sushi. I also had the Japanese sponge cake which was good but a bit small in portion. Next time, I'd order the sushi only. 3/4/23: Sat at the bar instead of a table this time (highly recommend the bar so you can watch the chefs) and had the "assorted tempura" (4.25*) and these sushi: Striped mackerel 4.5* Chu toro 4.75* Black cod 4.75* Aburi salmon 4.75* Sawara 4.5* Red snapper 4.75* Sweet corn tempura sushi 4.25*
Had a lovely dinner at Sushi Enya. The fish was very fresh and well prepared, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant is beautiful and relaxed. Compared to other sushi places in LA (and there are so many!) it is high quality but the price point is more expensive per piece even by sushi standards. We called it the “Beverly Hills tax” lol You won’t be disappointed but if you’re being more financially mindful, then I think you’ll have many other quality choices in LA. We (group of 2) each ordered the sushi combination (which was 9 pieces and a snow crab hand roll $65) - perfect seasoning, right amount of wasabi and soy sauce, no additional dipping required. We also each ordered a glass of sake and two additional pieces off the menu (scallop and black cod, both fantastic!!) - highly recommend ordering at least one piece from the specials menu if you’re a sushi veteran. My only disappointment was the snow crab hand roll - it came out at the same time as our nigiri sushi and I felt pressured to eat it right away to avoid the seaweed getting soggy. And when I did eat it right away, it didn’t make a difference - the seaweed was already soggy which makes me believe they had let it sit for some time before making the other pieces. For the price we paid for the meal in total (~$200 including tax), you’d expect a hand roll to be more crisp or brought out later in the meal. If I were to visit again, I’d order pieces individually.
My girlfriend and I went on Thursday night a few weeks back and we did a walk-in without any reservations. We were greeted by a host and she could get us seating right away. We chose to sit at sushi bar facing sushi chefs. We had quite several sushi nigiris and Mozuku seaweed. We also ordered scallops and they were so fresh! A server helped us choose sake bottle and we had this great Hyakumoku Junmai Ginjo sake and we glad we made the right decision. Overall, I can say this restaurant really offer authentic Japanese sushi , all of their fish were very fresh, you could just kept on ordering one after another and it seemed like it was endless meal! 5 stars from us, will be back for sure !!!
Went for a date and had a great experience. The specialty rolls were way bigger portions than I thought which makes it a really good price for what you get.
Literally the best culinary experience we have ever had. The staff were simply amazing and the unison greeting on entering set the tone from the very start. Tsubasa, along with his team Tatsuke (our chef) Aidan and Oscar took such good care of us, caterred for all our preferences and ensured we were satisfied with our meal. Thanks again team! See you again.
