Delicious! I had the Tom Yum. Flavors are very clean. The food was light not heavy on the stomach but filling. The chicken tasted so good. It was like having yard bird. IYKYK. The restaurant is extra clean. A must try if you're ever in the area. Worth the drive if you're not.
Racetrack Cafe never disappoints. Of the gazillion Thai restaurants in Fort Walton Beach, I keep coming back to RC because it is always right. Most of the other places are hit or miss. One day the food is great, the next is a let down. RC remains steady as a rock lunch, dinner, weekday or weekend. My favorite, Namtok salad is just like being in Thailand. I also love their Papaya salad with or without peanuts. My wife prefers the veggie stir fry with chicken. Portions are just right and the staff is friendly and the waiters are also cooks so they can answer any questions or tailor your meal any way you wish. Go Thai hot and send me a picture of your tears! ;-)
I love this place! The food is always served fresh and hot. Their spring rolls are always fresh and hot and not slimy in the center. My favorite is the Thai Beef salad. I tried their grilled teriyaki chicken and it was also superb!
Hands down, one of the best Thai places in town, amidst some phenomenal competition. Their Nam Tok salad and dumplings are my go to comfort food.
Nice small thai restaurant with very pleasant service and rustic charm our friends took us for dinner. Our friends told us that they never had anything that they didn't like - which was already very promising. When I asked the waitress if I had to be careful with any of the dishes due to my severe MSG allergy - or "Asian Salt" as some people also call it - she immediately replied that they don't use it anywhere which made me even more excited. Before the ordered food came, we were treated to a nice small spring roll while my husband was enjoying some sweet tea and I my water without ice - which was actually pretty good as they seem to have a good water filter. Then plates with rice and our main dishes came. I had very delicious and tender chicken and nice, fresh vegetables which still had a good bite to them and were not cooked to death like in so many other restaurants. Great and very fresh taste and mild on my plate as requested. My husband was also very pleased with his dish and his spice level. And yes, great taste without MSG at an affordable price is definitely possible and this Thai restaurant proves it! We will definitely come back for more! We loved it! :)
First time eating here had the lemon grass soup (thai hot) and drunken noodle (Thai medium) and they were both fantastic
Attentive staff, large portions and delicious food. We were a party of 8 and no one was disappointed.
Place is great! Such a sweet, homey feel. The food is perfectly seasoned and salted, very pleasant. If you aren't a huge fan of spice, I would watch what you order! Both the green curry and the vegetable curry are very spicy but have an amazing flavor. Excellent fried rice....the best I've tasted! You can order takeout over the phone and pick it up within 15-20 minutes. Very kind staff.
